Franken Toesies

I made a couple of frankens the other day and I did my Toes with one
It's a sweet baby blue with a great pink shift that obviously does not show on camera
I didn't take any macro shot because ummmm....they are feet and do you really want to see my toes THAT close? Yeah I didn't think so.
I made this with the TKB glamour base and pigment and honestly I love the color but the bases kind of suck as far as formula. They are thick and goopy and thinner does little to help so I think I'll stick to using a cheap clear and just shake the crap out of it. lol

Mermaid Toes!

I was feeling a little Mermaidy..with a Little help from
China Glaze Techno Teal & Funky Fingers Bella's Boy

Don't you just love mermaid, holo and glitter all in one pedicure
Plus you get to see my little toezies! *giggle*
Super Macro shot of the sparklies
I used 2 coats of Techno Teal, 1 coat of  Bella's Boy and topped it with Orly Polisheild.
I love the sparkle and the flash of holo in certain light and it fancies up my cute little Flinstone toes perfectly

Skinz for your nails? A review on Inque nails (Pedicure)

You know there are skins for your Ipod, laptop, cell phone, DS,
and even for your mouse. Inque has come up with custom skins for your toe and finger nails and they can be made to custom fit your nails. Kevin from Indue contacted me a while back when they were in the final design phase and offered me a test run on their nail skins. The idea of not only designing the skins to exactly what I want but then for them to be custom made to fit each of my crazy nails....well how could I not.
They are in the final beta testing on the finger nails (mine should be here very soon) so I am trying out the pedi skinz. Here is how this works...
You go to the website here
Go to register my nails, this will show you step by step how to take pictures of your nails so they can be measured and your skinz can be cut to match your nail shape. You load your pictures and register.
Once your nails are registered you can go in and pick one of Inque's designs or you can load your own design. I love how easy their customizing process is. You don't have to be a techie person to understand or use it or to understand. It's extremely user friendly. Once you have set up your custom design on your nails you send it through. If there looks to be a problem they will contact you super fast to fix a wonky picture or whatever. (Yes I did screw up my first pictures) Then you wait patiently....NOT! Just a couple of days and you'll get a package with this..

(I love the pictoral and simple step by step instructions.)
My wicked cool Toezies!
Now these aren't stickers they are a heavy duty material like my cell phone skin and the adhesive is really strong so I'm betting they will hold up pretty well. I'll update on that!
I have used the "dry" polish and the full nail stickers and all so I was prepared for an hour of adjusting, alligning, triming and filing. Instead Inque get a huge *Squishy* it took me 15 minutes including warming them with the blow dryer and smoothing the 2 or 3 tny wrinkles. I think the fact that they are precut to your exact nail makes them easier to apply. You wanna see?
I warn you chubby toes ahead! (be nice I think my chubby flinstone feet are adorable)
I am in love!
An extreme closeup so you can see how perfect they fit.
I have been wearing mine for 2 days and they are as perfect as when I applied them

Now here are my thoughts:
-I love that they are made of the same material as my cell phone skin so
I'm sure they aren't going to just fall off.

- Love that I can design my own using the images I love

-Love how easy they are to apply

-Love the website and ease of use

-Love the custom fit

-Hate that this makes me not want to polish my toes ever again! lol

P.S. If anyone want to borrow my design for their Inque tips or toes just email me and I'll send it to you. :o)

**Products in this post were sent to me for review by the company/PR for my honest review

Milani 3D Holographic Hi-Res and a pedi for my hubby

I got a couple of Milani 3D's in the mail the other day...because I can't find them here. :(
These are more like the Kaleidascopes than the OMG's. They are a chunkier holo but still feel smooth. What is really odd but very cool is that they are more holo indoors than out. The opposite of all of my other holos. I love this since it's cold and rainy outside. lol They are more sheer than most holos but well worth the 3rd coat.

This is what they look like outside.

Holo hotness

What an odd pose.lol

This is how the holo looks in the regular craptastic lighting of my room.

I did a special pedicure for Chris. The New Orleans Saints are playing tonight and he has been waiting 38 years for them to go to the Super bowl. I am not a sports fan but I am a big fan of whatever makes Chris happy so here is my Saints Game Day Pedi....Chubby toes ahead.....

I used Man Glaze Matte is murder as my base, then a coat of $OPI Worth my weight gold holo glitter and Fluer de lis decals. Go Saints!!!
