Chopping of the hair and more color fun!

It was time for a haircut last week, it had been a month and I had major mop head.
So I had redone my colors, adding more purple and bit of pink because well I can. Then set up an appointment with my sweety Elaine. I redesigned my cut to leave the back a tad fuller and chopped up the fringe more but it's not too far from my beloved choppy pixie. Oh pictures...you want to see my head right?

Right side (No smiles it was cold)

Left side (still freezing, smile broken)

Front (as close to a smile as you get)

OK one little smile just because I like you.

I will post my outfit of the day tomorrow because my sweety friend guilted me into taking pictures....so be prepared to see the rest of me...all 5' 1 ish" :o)

Double Barrel Danger Sox Look

I thought I would share my makeup from yesterday, nothing fancy just a typical look.
I got my hair cut a weekish ago so it is a little different I'll add the pictures of my hair at the end
(sorry about the picture quality, it's rainy and blah here so the lighting is crap)
I started with Absorbed spectrum pot and using a stiff concealer brush applied it to the outer 1/3 of the lid and blended it up into the crease. Then using the same technique I applied Hfb (Yes it does stand for Hooray for boobies) all over the rest of the lid and all the way up to my brow.
I used a mix of 1/3 suffocation eyeshadow and 2/3 Valkyries and blended it from my brow bone down and onto the duct. I patted Danger Sox all over lid and to just above the crease. Then I used Double Barrel in the outer v and into the crease.
I foiled a mix of Danger Sox and Double barrel to line lower lash and out to make my little tail
I used Rimmel max volume mascara (not very max on the volume but at least no spider lash)
I first attempted to use Tokidoki Perfetto eyeliner in Sabochan (black) to line upper lash line and I hate it passionately! It was so watery and thin that it bled out to a mucky thick line and then into every tiny line i didn't know I had. Total crap. So I lightly foiled double Barrel over it to even it out some.
(Left side of my hair, I removed the bulk of the hair, went shorter and left a few random longer pieces in the under layer)
I wore Matte Silk all over my face
China Doll blush Highlighted with Kona
Zicke deviant lipstick (which is pretty much a nude on me)
and my normal Joey Healy Brow powder
That's all....I'm pretty simple
Right side of the hair (It looks much better when the wind isn't blowing it all over)
Little better left side picture
The back is the same, shaved short and random length spikes at the crown.
I love this because i can do a cute faux hawk or wear it like this or if I'm feeling chic I can smooth it all down for a sleek look. Still loving my Teal, I think this is the longest I have ever kept one color but for me it stays so long and fade is to a pretty green/blue and it just works with the colors I wear most often.

New haircut & Makeup

Yesterday I had my beloved Elaine cut my hair (It needed it for about a month)
And as much as I loved my last cut (You can see it here) you all know I get bored easily so
I designed a new style and handed my wishlist and crazy hair over to Elaine.
It's a much shorter, choppier version of what I had
Oh and did I mention spikie? I love funky spiked mussy hair
I love my hair and my Elaine!
And look what was hiding on the back of my head...do you see that little tuft of white, just about half way down and dead center! lol  How cool is that, now if the rest would just follow suit I wouldn't have to bleach at all! :o)
See I can look all sexy...ok no I can't but I can try or at least pretend!

Any of you that know me well know that I own Evil Shades Cosmetics....I am the owner, creator, order packer, shipping coordinator, hell I'm the entire freakin assembly line. Now the awesome part is that I am so busy that most days I don't even have time to wear makeup other than a quick 5 minute splash. Yesterday I had time to purty up or as hubby says I got my Hot girl face on. lol
Here is why I rarely post my makeup looks...I have very small very hooded eyes so a couple of things happen when I put my eyes on. 1- as soon as I open my eyes all you can see is mascara, liner and eyebrow. 2- I crease so badly and so quickly and no primer can stop it since it is due to the extreme eye fold which is only getting worse with age.  It's frustrating and it makes it very hard to take pictures.
But guess what happened to day....no real creasing....really?
These pictures were taken 7 hours after I applied (I did not touch up anything except I changed my gloss)
I am guessing that this was due to my Spectrum pot that I used as a base. I actually had been afraid that it would crease worse. I used Prysm pink on my lid and then gently blended it up 2/3 of the way which is why my highlight below my brow is barely left at all.
I wore E/S Hardcore lips in Midnight Candy the first part of the day because for me it is a my lips but better color. (My lips are very wine stained in color naturally)
Then I switched to E/S Hardcore lips in Lost Kiss which is a nice candy pink with a purple shift
Products used:
Face-
-Evil Shades Matte Silk (aka The Shine Killer)
-E/S Skon blush

Eyes-
All Evil Shades
-Spectrum pot in Pink Prysm
-Franken shadow #8 on outer 2/3rds of lid and blended up above the crease
-Sephiric on inner 1/3 of lid and blended up and into #8
- Summer Lights in Vacation Paradise blended from brow down and in tear duct
-Reondite foiled for upper lash line and smudged into lower lash
-Rimmel volume mascara black(It's getting goopy)

Brows-
Joey Healy Brow powder in Tobacco set with JH brow gel

And the lips are listed with the pics
Yay for a fun girly day!

I like color even in my hair....

Most of you are used to my colorful hair and that I change it up once in a while
just for fun. Well I'm still loving my teal....a LOT but I wanted a little something so first I added a little bit of indigo and now a dash of hot pink!
Be nice, I took these pictures right after I blow dried it but I hadn't flat ironed it and no makeup and yes I already desperately need a haircut. :o)

I used Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink and for my teal I always use n'Rage Twisted teal

The teal always looks more blue in pictures but it's a perfect teal in real life
I will be keeping my teal still but I might change up the pink or add something else in a month or so...
who knows what will be the next one. lol
I am planning on doing a color review soon on the different brands and types of unnatural colors for those interested.

I'm getting Cocky! A review

OK so I'm always cocky but this is a review...
Of  B Cocky's Cocktail feather extensions.
These were sent to me as a gift from my friend Nymphette and I'm reviewing them because they are awesome! (Disclosure that) *See I'm a lil' cocky*
Nymphette is an awesome blogger here and Youtube Guru here
I've known here for about 2 years-ish (from MUA) and she is a lovely lady. She's talented and beautiful inside and out and a very dear friend long before either of us were anybody....we are somebody now aren't we? lol

Anyway...These are beautiful colored feather extentions.
They do not require glue, sewing or clumsy clips...not even a trip to the salon.
You can put them in yourself though I reccomend having a friend help you because it's easier to get them exactly where you want with help. They use a little crimp ring that does not damage your hair and holds very well. (I've had mine in for over a week now)
They are natural feathers so the length varies a tiny bit.
You can wash them like you normally would your hair and style them.
Blow dry, curl and flat iron. I've done all 3 and they work great.
I found that when I let my hair dry in it's natural curly state they kind of mimic it...weird but cool.
I'm totally rockin' the cock! *giggle*
These are fun and very versatile and I need to order some of her feather earrings, maybe pink and purple!
What do you think? You know you wanna get cocky too!

A happy hair day and FOTD

Those of you who've followed me for a while know that a couple of months ago
I got a haircut from hell! Now I'm not talking too short of fringe or slightly crooked...I'm talking
I asked for this
and she gave me this...
OK not exactly but close.
So I had to go and have it "fixed" and the sweet lady who did her best to make it better had a mess to work with. There was even a large chunk razored out randomly in the back and scattered bizzare layers everywhere. So the best she could do was a slightly asymmetric bob...which I still did not like.

Yesterday I went and had my happy cut done. Misty (an adorable little punk girlie) made me a happy hair human again....yes I squeezed her! Happy enough to take pictures and post for you all to see.
(Pardon my teal it's been 6 weeks since I did it so it's in need of refreshing)
Duh, nu, nu, nunt, nu nah!
Love!
I can smile again!
I'll take more pictures with my natural curl so you can see it that way too
My new rule is: Only people with mohawks, liberty spikes or the like are allowed to cut my hairs!
Nothing fancy with the makeup, just my daily wear sort of thing

My camera does this fun blurry thing sometimes now...wtf is with that?

Oops hairs in da way

You can see the colors better (and my wrinkly eye lid) although they are still washed out

Holiday tips from the experts

I thought I would share some great tips straight from the experts

And now I have to run to Target to ummm....pick up some.....uh tape...yeah that's it!
:o)

Mad, sad and buying a hat

If you saw my post yesterday you know I was going for a haircut....
I did everything right, I researched, found reviews, checked education, portfolios etc.
I went today with this picture
I (having a background in cosmetology) explained in detail what I wanted.
I have never ever cried over a hair situation in my life, until today!
There are no pictures and there will never be any....it's that bad.
I haz a major sad
I wonder if they have this in my size?!

I have an appointment tomorow with a "fix" specialist and I will probably end up this uber
short hair and look like a fuzzy bowling ball for the next 6 months.
So get ready for eye closeups and not a thing more.
I feel your pain kitty!

I need a change of the hairs

Obviously I have hair ADD, I can't help it.
I've been growing my hair out via request of The Hot Guy and letting my natural curl flow.
But I'm bored and it's getting too long and I am BORED.
It's mid back at this point and my fringe is (at the shortest point) to the tip of my nose.
I kind of want something I can wear curly or straighten depending on my mood.
I can't go too short or Chris will be very sad.
Here are a few I like
Not the top but the choppy uneven back is great
I like the fringe on this.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Fringe no fringe?
