A billion requests for Rainbow in the dark polish

Over the past few days I've gotten a lot of emails
asking if I have any Evil Shades Rainbow in the dark nail polish left.
I made it a few months ago when Ronnie James Dio was diagnosed with cancer, as a tribute and my odd little way of showing support. I normally do not bring back Limited Editions
but under the circumstance I understand the desire. I am not going to to list it on my Evil Shades website.
I will however make another small batch if enough people want a bottle or two.
Since I make my polish in small batches it's a bit pricey for me to make.
I am willing to sell those who would like a bottle at my cost of $3.50, I am NOT making any profit. I couldn't stand the idea of profiting off the loss of my hero.

So if enough people want it I will make more.
Each bottle would be $3.50 with a limit of 2 bottles per person.
US shipping would be $2.00
International shipping is $3.15
Payment via PayPal only!
I'm sorry but due to the high cost I cannot swap for these.

If you are interested please either email me or leave a comment on this post with your email address if it is not listed in your blogger profile.

We've lost our Rainbow in the dark

R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio 7-10-1942 to 5-16-2010
It is through tears I write this post.
For 30+ years I have listened to Ronnie James Dio.
He was my introduction to metal. My Dad and I loved Dio and together we enjoyed many concerts, LP's, CD's and any Dio we could get our hands on. I shared my love for his music with my own children.
It is hard to lose a hero even if you never personally knew them. It truly feels like I've lost a family member.
My heart is shattered as I know are many.

I send my heart felt sorrow to Wendy and the friends and family of Ronnie.
We loved him very much and will miss him dearly!
He will always be our Rainbow in the dark!

Evil Shades LE nail polish Rainbow in the dark

I promised when I discontinued my Evil Shades nail polish that I would have
Limited Edition polishes from time to time. Well TIME!
I've been working on this one for a while and it finally came together for me. Yes!

This one is actually very near and dear to my heart and is not only an LE but more importantly a tribute
to one of my life long musical influences, Mr. Ronnie James Dio. My Daddy introduced me to Dio via Elf and Black Sabbath and then together we listened through decades of Dio, wearing out many a vinyl LP and a few CD's. My Dad used to play one song in particular for me "Rainbow in the dark".
This became my hope song and to this day it can easily lift my spirits. I demanded that it be played at my Daddy's funeral because it truly suited him. No matter how shitty your day my Daddy could make you laugh till you wee'd, usually by singing some ridiculous made up song, very badly, loud and off key!
I know it maybe odd to tribute someone via nail polish but hey I am odd
and my cosmetics are my creative outlet. I hate the idea of waiting until someone has passed to pay tribute. I know that Dio will never know about my little tribute but I will and I'll always have my bottle of polish to remind me.

Rainbow in the dark is a semi sheer black base with, you guessed it, a mega
shit ton of rainbow shimmer that burst from the darkness. Why did I make it semi sheer? First to allow the rainbow to shine through and secondly because I love to layer. Now this is totaly opaque in 3 coats so it can easily be worn alone as well. The "rainbow" really errupts out of the darkness of the black base in bursts of red, blue, green, purple, silver, pink and a touch of yellow/gold.

What do you think?
