Blinding Coral

Do not adjust your monitor
This polish really is painfully bright and therefore I love it!
Paradise is a great Coral neon from Claire's
Thank you Claire's for searing peoples retinas with my fingernails!

My Son asked me to take it off because he couldn't see.

If you flip someone the bird wearing this...you are guaranteed they will see it!

The formula was nice, shear but smooth. This is 4 coats, with top coat as this does dry matte.
So how do you feel about blinding neons?

Claire's Flirty/Shy Mood polish

So I bought one of these for my gorgeous friend Feline
and that perfect blue just kept taunting me, so I went back and picked up a bottle for myself.
This is 2 coats with no top coat.
It dries matte as you can see, and rather fast.

A quick shot with the blow dryer

and it quickly starts back to my blue mood french mani.

Add a little top coat and yum

And a shot with the blow dryer

and with my hand in the freezer
I love this polish.
I had no application issues and these are with no cleanup at all.
I might need to track down more!

Girly Franken and Claire's Flakies swatches

So I thought I should probably go a little more subtle
as far as my polish, for hubby's disability hearing yesterday. Well I frankened a very nice sparkly peachy pink.
I wish the sparklies showed better. It's a crystal looking large particle sparklie finish.

And a major pain to remove. But it is pretty and a nice color for when I have to go "normal".

I went to the mall to see if Claire's had the Mood change polish's and the flakies for my
sweety Fleine. They only had 2 colors of the moods but they had 2 sets of the flakies left...
one for her and one for me!

I think I need to go back and get another blue for me.

Click to make the picture huge. The flakies are not like Nfu-oh or Sinfuls
they are more of a metallic flakie in several sizes with glitter in a thich jelly base.

Over black all six look pretty much the same.

Alone they are sheer but very pretty.

I think I might try them over a similar pastel base.

and maybe over a nude or white base.

I think these are really cool and very different flakies.

Heart broken? MegPeg to the rescue!

Chris and I have been a bit heart borken the past several days
after the sudden passing of a great musician, Peter Steele. Type O Negative has been a long time favorite band of ours all the way back before the mainstream world had ever heard of them or swooned to the sound of Peter's deep powerful voice. So sad, so young!
I desperately needed a cheer up mani and good old Claire's MegPeg
jumped right out to comfort me and bring a wee smile to my eyes. A beautiful bright pink with a burst of scattered holo glitter throughout. She truly is a happy old friend to pull out when you need her!
I love this shade of pink

For these you need to click to enlarge and really see the holo glitter

A little blur to see her sparkle

Thanks for being there MegPeg!

Oh and one more happy to add to it.
Rhea was so sweet and emailed me her gift code to Piggy Paint that she won, for me to get my girls some pretties. My youngest adores having her tiny tips and toes polished. So I ordered the girls each a color and they came in yesterday. Crissa demanded her nails be polished immediatly. She's not even 2 yet and the girl has a serious love for nail polish, heavy metal and soccer.(which she calls football, she's so European.lol)
Thank You so much Rhea, you are the best!
Piggy Paint in Ice Cream Dream
A sweet metallic teal. This is one coat, no top coat.
Sorry about the blur but she holds still for about 7.2 seconds at a time. :o)
I love Piggy Paint for my girls, especially the little one that still puts everything in her mouth.
I feel much better having this safe alternative for her. And she thinks it's funny to have her nails blow dried.

What is your cheer up color?
