China Glaze Metallic Crackle Glaze Skittles

I thought crackle skittles would be fun on my new mini nails
The China Glaze Metallic Crackles are such fun colors
Right to left, top to bottom: Latticed Lilac, Haute Metal (My favorite), Cracked medallion, Platinum Pieces and Tarnished gold
Tarnished gold up close
I did this a little thicker to get wider cracks
These give a lighter application so you can do a subtle crackle finish or apply thicker for serious crackle
I really like these, they are more versatile than most crackles since they are sheer if you apply lightly.
I did Haute Metal over a baby pink on my youngest and it gave a nice subtle crackle...of coarse she then picked at it until I couldn't get a picture. (She's 3 so not the best model choice)

Overall, Application is very nice, dry time is excellent and formula is awesome.
The crackle trend is being beaten to death but if you haven't tried any I think the metallics are my top pick!

Zoya Sunshine & Summertime - Faye

Zoya...you made this one just for me didn't you?
Faye is a beautiful gilded purple with metallic sparks of copper and gold that shifts like crazy
This is 3 coats of nom
The formula is slightly thin but very easy to work with and very forgiving
Faye is a moody girl and she might be leaning toward a multiple personality, judging by her constantly
switching from soft and girly mauvey with copper shimmer to her bold purple base with exploding golden sparkle and then to a brownish shade with purple glint and gold and copper metal sparks.
This is a must have x100....trust me you need it!

Zoya Intimate collection- Jules

Jules is a sparkling champagne gold metallic
I wish I could wear gold better because this truly is a lovely color
This is 3 coats of Jules with Poshe' top coat
Application is very nice for a metallic, smooth, a little sheer but builds well.
Removal is so much easier than most metallics....it comes of as easily as a creme!

China Glaze Anchors Away- Starboard & White Cap

I am loving China Glaze Anchors Away collection!
My Daddy was Navy in Vietnam and my Hot Hubby was a Merchant Marine so obviously I love Sailors!

I decided to layer Starboard and White Cap because well...I wanted to! :o)

Starboard: Hip and playful green crème
White Cap: Whimsical and sparkling multi-dimensional white
(descriptions courtesy of China Glaze)
My descriptions:
Starboard- An unusual and cheery medium bright green creme
White Cap- A sheer opal white with gold micro glitter/shimmer
This is very color accurate
New camera takes pretty pictures doesn't it!?
Oh look at the sparklies
This is 2 coats of Starboard with 1 coat of White Cap topped with Seche Vite

Application: Starboard was great, nearly opaque in one coat
White Cap is very sheer so personally I would not likely wear it alone but layered it gives beautiful shimmer in one very thin coat.

Formula: Great formula! Starboard is a perfect creme and applies like a dream. White Cap is rather thin and slightly runny, which makes it perfect for layering.

Has China Glaze made you a naughty Nauticalista?

Barielle Holiday Hustle Swatches Winter 2010

Iwas sent the Barielle Holday Hustle collection....I love it!
Barielle has a great way of avoiding the typical so again they make me so very happy!

All swatches are 2 coats no top coat, in lightbox lighting.
Gelt me to the Party is an antiqued Copper/bronze/gold
I really wish this looked better on me because I love the color a lot!

Coalest day of the year is a dark gray almost black with pearl shimmer!
I think this color is beautiful.

Jess' Champagne Toast is a metallic lilac/violet with pink micro glitter
You all know I love a contrasting glitter/shimmer and this one grabbed me immediately!

Barielle calls Snow Day metallic with silver undertones.
On me it looks like a slightly blued metallic green with silver hues. Now we all know that colors can sometimes catch the skin tones and look a bit different on different people.

Wrap me in ribbon is a metallic raspberry and a surprize love.
I am shocked but I really love this color.

Elle's Spell.....drooooool.....stare......drool
As you can tell I swatched this a week ago, when I lost my claws, to cheer me up and it worked so well that I wore it for 3 days. (That says a lot)  Elle's Spell is a beautiful red jelly with opal flakies that shift from firey orange, gold to green and occasional blue flash.

I will leave you to drool!
