Bare Escentuals Beautifully Bronzed Deluxe Two-Piece Collection on QVC

Thursday April 21 you can grab this up on QVC
I'm loving the brush

Now being the kind of girl who looks out the window and get's 2 shades darker,
(Thanks Mom for those crazy Blackfoot sun absorbing genetics)
I don't use sunless tanners, but being the Mom of 2 very fair skinned little ones and watching my husband having to have "suspisious" spots that turn out to be pre cancerous...I am all for anything that will reduce skin cancer! So skip the tanning bed and put on your sunscreen and use a sunless tanner instead!
*Cough* Talking to all you 20 somthing ladies who think it will never catch up to you! *Cough*

NEW Bare Escentuals Beautifully Bronzed Deluxe Two-Piece Collection
Approximately $46.50

What is it? Say "Aloha" to a healthy, natural-looking tan all year round with the Beautifully Bronzed Collection. Within a few hours of application, skin will glow flawlessly golden and last for five to seven days. Plus, the faux tan contains moisturizing aloe vera and won’t clog pores or irritate sensitive skin. The revolutionary new Deluxe Tan Brush will allow for quick, easy and clean application of Faux Tan.

Why is it different? The Deluxe Faux Tan offers 16-ounces of gorgeous, natural, never-orange tan in a bottle. It can be used all over the body and never looks fake or streaky.

The Deluxe Tan Brush buffs on a streak-free tan without getting any product on hands, it has a unique flared handle designed to be held multiple ways. The brush boasts a super soft, super-sized luxuriously dense brush head for a uniform glow.

How to use?
1. Before applying Faux Tan Sunless Tanner, prep skin first. While showering, exfoliate skin carefully to provide the smoothest surface to glide sunless tanner over.

2. Using the Deluxe Tan Brush, apply Faux Tan Sunless Tanner to dry skin. Use quick strokes to buff all over the body using a cross hatch or circular motion, being sure to smooth away any edges.

3. Because the color is visible during application, don’t worry about any embarrassing goofs like rings around the ankles, elbows and knees. Just be sure to buff more lightly over these crease-prone areas.

Final Tip: Make sure to rinse the brush after each use. This will keep the brush in the best shape for future faux-tanning.

Now go enjoy the beautiful weather....safely!

Systeme 41 Rejuvenating Masque review

I have been using this for a while (any skin product I test long term)
System 41 is a skin care line by Dr. Janet Zand and is 100% natural.
They have a really good guarantee:
Système 41 is 100% guaranteed.
If you don't notice a difference in the way your skin looks and feels, simply return the unused product (even if you're at the bottom of the jar!) for a complete refund.
No questions asked. No time limits. You can return the entire container completely empty at any time and still get 100% of your money back. You risk nothing by trying Système 41.

The ingredients:
(From the website)
Ingredients: aqua (purified de-ionized water), squalane (olive), kaolin (amazon white clay), caprylic/capric triglyceride, glycerin, rosa moschata (rose hip) seed oil, phytosteryl macadamiate, bentonite, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil unsaponifiables, santalum album (sandalwood) wood extract, phellodendron amurense bark extract, hordeum distichon (barley) extract, candelilla/jojoba/rice bran polyglyceryl-3 esters, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, sodium stearoyl lactylate, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, punica granatum (pomegranate) extract, carica papaya (papaya) fruit extract, mangifera indica (mango) fruit extract, salix nigra (willow) bark extract, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, alpha glucan oligosaccharide, sodium hyaluronate, biosaccharide gum-1, phyllanthus emblica fruit extract, chitosan, hydrolyzed algin, chlorella vulgaris extract, sea water, jojoba esters, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (vitamin c), citrus extract, menthol, natural fragrance, sodium phytate.

The first time I used it I tried it as a masque which it says to leave on up to 20 minutes.
It smells minty, not overpowering. The texture is like most clay or mud masques, thick and pasty. It works best to rub it in your hands a little before spreading it on your face or it kind of crumbles and falls off.
I made it to 3 minutes and my skin was burning so bad I had to wash it off.
My face was red and fiery for several hours.
If you notice in the ingredient list it contains Tea Tree oil which was to harsh for me to use as a masque.

Since that one time I have been using it as a scrub.
It works wonderfully! It does not dry my skin out or leave it greasy.
After using the Rejuvenating masque as a scrub my face is soft and smooth and feels clean.
I have noticed that my pores appear smaller and I have fewer blackheads.
I will certainly continue using it and see if it completely or at least mostly minimizes my pores.

Pros:
-It is all natural
-Leaves skin soft and smooth
-minimizes pores
-reduces blackheads
-non drying
-not oily

Cons:
-I cannot use it as a masque due to the high content of tea Tree
-The Price $30 + shipping for 2oz. is a bit steep for a scrub/masque for me
-The packaging, I'm not fond of dipping my fingers into a jar of thick paste and having it under my nails. I would prefer a squeeze tube.

My current Skincare funzies

I am asked occasionally about my skincare routine so I thought I'd share.
I'm pretty simple as far as skincare since I don't have any major
skin issues. I am starting to get a few fine lines and in winter my skin completely changes but this is my current run down.
I wash my face every evening using:
Biocollasis Gentle Cleanser by Elizabeth Grant
It's a nice gentle non drying clenser. I love that it does not leave my skin dry but not oily, just nice and clean.
Also it takes a very small amount so this bottle will last. It costs $15.00 and I will be buying another bottle when I run out.
I've been using these products for almost 2 months and love them.

Next I use the Biocollasis Pore Refining Lotion
It's like a very gentle toner. Soothing and adds a touch of moisture. For me this is perfect in summer when I don't really need a face creme but just a little something. It doesn't have a fragrance which is great....my face doesn't want to wear perfume! This I believe is $12.00

This I use twice a day, Morning and night!
The Socializer is my new best girlfriend!
Normally I forget to put on an eye creme (maybe that's where those fine lines crept in)
This is so perfect for people like me!

This cute tube contains a Night and Day Eye treatment

The night is slightly heavier and has really helped with the little lines trying to run amuck on my eyes.
The day is lighter and has an illuminating effect to lighten the look of dark circles.

I keep these on my desk in their adorable tube so I do not forget.
The pen size applicators make it nice to throw in your bag or for travel as well.

I love the brush applicators.
Just a couple of clicks (like working an ink pen) and brush it around your eyes and done!
For me this is the perfect solution. I love the light non greasy formula and the illuminator doesn't make it look like I smeared zinc under my eyes but it does give a little bit of help for those up all night eyes.
This one is $40.00 but for me it's so worth it. I've spent more than than on the jars of eye goo that ended up in the waste basket because I never remembered to use them or felt like my eyes had been greased!
These can be purchased here  Now I'm not one to gush over a skincare line but I will gush insanely for Elizabeth Grant. I love everything I've used so far and I honestly reccomend these products whole heartedly. They aren't going to make you look 30 years younger, 6 inches taller or 3 dress sizes smaller but they do a great job of offering great skin products that do what they should.

Elizabeth Grant skin care review

I was sent a few products from Elizabeth Grant to try.
I have used these products for the past month so as to offer a full review.
I'm going to just dive in.

Vitamin C Body Scrub
From the website:
The potent combination of Torricelumn™ and Vitamin C make this body scrub a powerful anti-aging treatment that will leave your body feeling and looking smoother, younger and more beautiful.

My experience:
Love the citris scent, not too strong. I really like the texture of this scrub, it's a fine grit and spreads very easily. I noticed my skin was glowy after the first use. After a month of use (twice a week) I have noticed that my skin does look much smoother and is definitly softer and has a lovely glow.

Vitamin C Hand & Nail Cream
From the website:
Hands can show the evidence of aging and sun damage just as much as frown lines and crow’s feet. This non-greasy and quick absorbing hand and nail cream delivers an intense dose of Vitamin C to lighten hyper-pigmentation and increase collagen production. Contains Torricelumn and three other major hydration ingredients to boost moisture levels all day long and strengthen the nails. Vitamin C Hand & Nail Cream eliminates dryness and brightens and protects the skin giving your hands a more youthful appearance.

My experience:
I do not have "age spots" so I cannot speak on that part.
The scent is very light and similar to the body scrub. This is very fast absorbing and not at all greasy.
This lotion is a little too light for my taste, I prefer a more intense cream. I did not notice any change in the skin on my hands but to be fair I have always been an avid hand lotion addict so there really was no need for improvement. I will try this again this winter when my hands really do need the extra moisture.

Peppermint & Eucalyptus Foot Scrub
From the website:
With Peppermint Oil to refresh tired feet; Eucalyptus to soothe aching feet; and Aloe to moisturize dry feet, Peppermint & Eucalyptus Foot Scrub is a relaxing and refreshing foot treatment.

My experience:
I used this once a week for the past 4 weeks and my feet are very happy. My feet loot very pampered.
I personally don't really like the smell of mint on my feet and I know most people do so I can't comment on that part. I did notice that on the days I had been on my feet a lot this really made them feel a ton better.

Cracked Heel Treatment
From the website:
Cracked heels are a common foot problem generally caused by dry and callused skin. This irritating cosmetic issue can lead to the more serious problems of pain or infection, in cases where cracks are deep. Cracked Heel Treatment helps to relieve and repair dry, cracked heels by moisturizing and softening the skin.

My experience:
I so reccomend this (even if it smells minty)!
My husband is Diabetic and so we really have to take great care with his feet. I used this twice a week and he used it everyday. My feet are soft as a babies bum and his feet are so much softer. He had a couple of cracked areas on his heals and those are gone, the calloused areas are much softer and smaller. I highly reccomend this for anyone with dry, cracked or callosed feet.

I have also spied a couple of other products in the elizabeth Grant line that I'm going to order and I'll let you know what I think of those.
