It's a Pirate Party!

I figured while my nails are so short I should play with glitter
(Glitter turns to concrete on my nails and is painful to remove, even with the foil method & pure acetone so when my nails are long I rarely wear it)
I used OPI Skull and Glossbones as my base and 2 un named glitters
I added an accent of one of my little skull and crossbones decals and we have a Pirate Party!
Sadly we had no sun to get full bling pictures
I did 2 coats of Skull & Glossbones and one coat of each of the glitters followed with a thick coat of seche Vite
Yes it was a pita to remove but I loved it anyway!

My Nutcracker is Sweet & Studdly!

OK yeah the title is lame but I'm still recooping from the stomache flu so we'll take what we can get!

I have hade this cute little OPI mini for a couple of years,
it was an extra in a swap from a sweety who was not a "polish" person and had no idea what it was or from which set. So I investigated....No code on the bottom as is with the newer mini's and some older ones. Hmmm....it's a true mini not one of the bigger mini's that is more current....I cannot smel the tulene so I'm guessing it's not more than 3 or so years past. So it was on to searching pictures and I am 99% sure that it is OPI Nutcracker Sweet but if you see it and know it PLEASE let me know!

Yes I defiled the innocent little sweet duochrome with studds because...well this is me!
Pardon my dry yuck paws, as I said I'm still recooping from the stomache flu and dehydration is not pretty
I got sick before I could finish studding all of my fingers but I still like it
My wee little thumb and pink glowy love
Oh look how sweet the sunlight make this
I am not huge on taupe or light colors but I just love this

Now in the shade...WOW she is lilac! *Dies*
Do you have any mystery polish?

BB Couture Infamous Lovers Her collection

I love the idea of having a His & Hers collection to compliment each other.
I have the Hers half for you

Pocahontas is a taupe creme with random specs of black glitter
Application was BB Coutures usual dreamy 2 coats of awesome.
This is with no top coat. These types of colors do not suit my skin tone which is a shame because this one is quite interesting and pretty.

Juliet is a medium peach creme that for some reason did not want to have her picture taken.
On me it looks between a nude and calamine lotion but in the bottle, on nail wheel and on my daughter it is a pretty creamy peach. I wish it was on me but my skin tone is odd.
The application was fabulous almost a one coater.

Cleopatra is a teal with glowy blue shimmer that transforms this color to a beautiful and unique shade of yum!
This is 2 coats of love!

Eve is a warm olive green jelly with lots of lighter green glitter.
This is without top coat and it is a bit bumpy but one coat of top coat and you'd never know.
This is 3 coats and very nice coverage for a jelly.

Bonnie is a emerald green jelly with diamond/silver glitter.
Very nice coverage at 3 coats and builds very easily and even.

Carla is a deep red toned purple with blue micro shimmer which gives a very lovely contrast.
This is 2 coats with no top coat.

I think this is a very unique collection and the variety of shades makes it work well on many different skin tones and tastes. I am excited to get the His half of the collection now.
Do you have any favorites?

Color Club Rebel Debutante Preview & swatches Part I

Rebel Debutante is a 9 color collection with 3 coordinating lip gloss' from Color Club.

The collection as described by Color Club:
"Rebellious shades that go from classic to trendy"
"It's a new spin on classic color! It's made for the girl who likes the finer things."
I have the first 4 more neutral shades today for you.

Who are you wearing?

This color is difficult to describe, it is certainly not white or even off white. It's slightly taupe but not truly. My best description whould be a smokey taupe/white creme.
I am not a neutral kind of girl but surprisingly I like this. It's such an unusual shade that I find it much more interesting than typical neutrals. It was slightly sheer so this is 4 coats. Application is smooth and quite the normal high quality that I'm used to from Color Club.

High Society

A lovely light taupe creme. This does not lean to far warm or cool so I believe it would suit most skin tones easily. Application was very smooth with just 2 coats to a nice even opaque.

Beast Dressed List

A slightly brown tinted beige. This leans a little more warm as you can tell by how red my fingers look.
Very smooth even application despite my hurried application. Opaque in two coats.

Charity Ball

Terracotta very simply put. This looks aweful on me and is not a color I would choose for myself.
It's an orange based terracotta. Smooth application, actually this was the smoothest and most opaque of these 4. Nearly opaque on the first coat but not enough for my satisfaction.

In general my opinion is that these first four shades of the collection are great neutral/safe colors.
So if you are looking for work safe colors or some neutrals that are a little more trendy these are perfect.
