China Glaze Poolside Summer Hotness!

I say Oh yeah, summer neons rock and China Glaze is getting it hot early!

Neon's are so fun, but remember that they tend to be thin and streak on the first couple of coats, as China Glaze states in the press release. To help with smoother neon application my favorite trick is to layer a nice one coat white under light neons and a nude under darker.

BB Couture for Men Pipe Bender

These are my first BB Coutures and Chris would not let me wear Impact Driver because he wanted to wear it first. :) So I chose Pipe bender, a gorgeous deep green with mega blue shimmer.

This is two coats of Pipe Bender, it applied like a dream!

All pictures are taken with my lightbox because the sun has gone on vacation.

I added a little konad using image plate m65 from my latest wowsocool order. I mixed a little light blue shimmer pigment into a bit of clear polish to stamp with. I just wanted a little subtle rose.

This is completely inacurate as for color but it shows the konad.

How sexy is that shimmer!

I am so pleased with this color. I'm sure it will be part of my regular rotation!

Orly Shine on and Metal Chic

I was sent these two shades for review.

The first is from the Orly Shine on collection

Rage  Shine  Luxe

I recieved Luxe a Gold with a Metallic Foil Finish

This is one coat with no top coat.

Fabulous application as usual from Orly.

And not a single brush stroke. I can't wait to try the others.

This is a perfect, smooth gold foil and the best application of a foil I've ever had.

Next the Metal Chic Collection (matte):

Iron Butterfly   Solid Gold   Glam Rock

I recieved Glam Rock a Metallic Matte Copper

This is a Bronze base with silver metallic flecks throughout. I think this is a very unique color.

I use seche Vite on my index finger so you could see what it looks like shiney. (beautiful)

On my middle finger I used 1 coat and 2 coats on all others, just so you can see how deeply pigmented this is.

Another with perfect application. Very smooth and easy to work with.

This was as easy of an application on a matte as any non matte.

Another win!

even though golds and bronze are not good colors for me these are really great colors and I am excited to try the others.

Tangerine Scream

No I'm not torturing fruit...this is Color Club Tangerine Scream

I am in awe! This is the first orangey shade that I have ever loved!

It's neon but with a beautiful shimmer that I have not decided if it's blue, green or somewhere inbetween.

This is two thin coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

Warning you might want to grab your sunglasses and do not stare directly into the claws!

By the way these pictures are all in natural light under very cloudy skies with snow flurries.

This is more what it looks like indoors. If you look at the top of the bottle you can see the cool toned shimmer.

Tangerine snow...yum!

Oh look it matches my California Mango lotion.

Why, yes I did take eleventy billion pictures and my camera is no longer speaking to me!

This color makes me drool!

BB Couture haul and loves for Overall Beauty

I had a little tax refund $$ to reward me for surviving this past year.

So What did I decided to buy me...BB Couture nail polish since I didn't have any and had been drooling over them forever! I strolled around the OverallBeauty website, jumping back and forth from nailgal to decide on just which ones I had to have. I finally decided and placed my order.
