Nail Art, nubbins and my secret project

I have so much to post...were to start...

Last Sunday I sat with my sweet neighbor lady's adorable Mother
who fell while I was there.(She was not hurt) While picking her up off the ground I managed to snap my middle fingernail off. So that meant filing the rest down to match. So now I have tiny baby nubbins.
What do you do with nubbins?
You decorate them!
I had been swatching so I can't remember the base color.
I stamped my nails with my Konad fishnet image using Cocl stamping polish from Born Pretty store
and then added the little pale pink heart sequins also from Born Pretty store.
I feel all sparkling!
Now onto my secret project...
Those of you who follow me on twitter know that for the past few months I've been keeping a secret and dropping the occasional annoying hint about it....welll

I created my own perfume! Evil Angel's Intristic Harmony!
It took forever and was far more complicated than I could have ever imagined but I am so proud of it!
The beautiful and talented Crystal "Naneko" Boyer created my likeness in fantasy form to add to the label.

The fragrance is: A hint of soft black leather to entice the wild side, a subtle whisper of strawberry to settle the inner child, rested on a base of sweet water lily and jasmine with gentle wafts of coconut and blood red roses all to sweep you away to your "Intristic Harmony"

The name is something my Daddy used to say when he was doing things he enjoyed or when people were stressed, sad, angry or what have you. "Find your Intristic Harmony"  In other words go to your happy place or find your inner peace. This takes me to my Intristic Harmony and I hope it will do the same for all who wear it.  Obviously it's available on my website http://www.evilshades.com/ Most important is that I accomplished something I never thought I could and I enjoyed the long road to get there!

Mermaid Nail Art Failure

I'm a little sad over this one, I had it pictured in my head and I'm not sure yet where I killed it.
The Idea was to look like the scales of a Mermaids tail.
I used Nina Pro Mermaid over white as my base color. Mermaid is a beautiful sheer pale sparkly green.
I Stamped using konad image plate m57 and China glaze Strawberry fields. Double stamping is not easy and the curve of my nails makes the full nail images impossible. Then I sponged a nameless Sally Hansen sheer sparkly pink from the tip up toward the cuticle. Then lightly sponged mermaid over all.

Pictures are taken indoors in my wonky lightbox.

Look at the pretty shimmer!

I will try this again!
