A Wild Wicked Vixen Weekend

I'm sure you've read about our fun on Stiletto and Scandalous Ange's blogs
But I'm going to post it too so :oP

Our sweet friend Stiletto and her doll of a hubby drove to our side of the mountains for a visit.
There was lots of girly jabbering and polish shopping and more girl talk and more shopping and frozen coffee.. and more shopping.
How beautiful are my girls!!!! Yeah in case you didn't know...I'm short. :o)
Apparently being a WV means you haz been overly blessed in the boobies!
(OK that's what Chris said)

And our little tribute to our lovely Nihrida!
All of our missing Vixens were much missed! Maybe someday all of us can get together and scare the crap out of whatever city we land in. lol

Did I mention that this will be a long post?

We did just a little tiny bit of shopping.
There isn't a single good nail polish within a 100 mile radius now.

Some of my new little friends

Yeah...it was a REALLY GOOD Day!

I had no sunshine to show off OPI La Boheme in her true beauty

You can see the gold duochrome in the bottle here

This was a big, long time lemming

So I got to finally hang out with Stiletto and Ange and I got several lemmings.

Here is my eyeball in weird lighting.
I used Evil Shades Infernal on the lid and blended it up to the brow bone. Evil Shades Double Barrel in the crease and outer v. Palladio liquid liner in black on upper and lower lash line smudged with Infernal on lower lash and Wet n Wild Mega volume mascara in black.
Sorry I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures of my makeup before so these are all 9 + hours after application.
I'm so happy with infernal!
And I was able to finish the painting on the dress I made. This is the left front shoulder panel.
And my little skully.
It's hard to tell from the pictures but Skully is metallic silver.
Whew I think that is all of the Saturday goodies!
I can't wait to do it all again!

Black Phoenix Alchemy labs Claw polish review part I

Alchemy sent me some of their Claw polish to review.
Here is what they sent:

Black Phoenix Alchemy labs claw polish is available on their website.
The links I am posting are directly to the Claw polish as I found their website a bit complex to navigate.
The first thing I noticed was how great their bottle label is, I love the design.
Then there are the color names:

This is a beautiful deep yet shimmery blue.

MME Moriarty is the Misfortune teller in some Tarot decks.
This is my manicure today and is is a beautiful red jelly.

Bordello is a Metallic pink with a ton of silver.

Croquet is a sweet candy pink creme.

Malediction means The calling down of a curse or to Speak evil.
A super shiney black creme.

Sed Non Satiata means Never satisfied.
This is a Rouge creme very deep and velvety.

Normally I would do some quick swatches but I think these call for a full mani since I've heard so little about them, that I want to do a full review of each color.

First up is MME Moriarty. (You knew I was going to pick this first didn't you)

I have never seen a color quite like this. It's a Jelly but it's so pigmented that it really hides the visible nail line that jellies usually do not. So I'm calling this a Jelly/Creme.

The bottle depicts the color it looks on the nail in low light.

See how the light shines through the nail still.

OK so you can see the visible nail line but it's much more subtle than most jellies.

Application was perfection. Smooth, no dragging, thin but not runny.
3 coats to perfection.

Yes I took a billion pictures. This color really is much more beautiful in real life.
I will do my best to get the rest of these colors reviewed and posted.

A Vampire Revolution

OPI Vampire State Building with Color Club Revvvolution!
I saw another blogger (can't recall who :( sorry) that did a lovely manicure with glitter at just the very tip of the nail. This is my version.
I used OPi Vampire State Building as a base, 2 very thin coats because I wanted it to look more jelly than creme. Then I brushed a coat of Color Club Revvvolution across the free edge allowing just a tiny bit to drag the very tip of the nail. It's subtle but I'm loving this.

Pardon the dust particles on my nails, we are having extremely high winds so everything is flying about and I had just put a dab of Mango mend on so it all stuck to my nails. :D

Oh and clean up was bad since our power went out 4 times while I did my nails.

I like this, it's like my little secret holo prettyness!

I love combing two of my favorite colors!

I'm Ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I let my Husband pick my mani this time and he wanted something different.
I thought everything I did was "different"? He picked an old OPI Red-y for Anything, which I forgot I had.
This is one of those hard to describe colors, it's red but it's pinkish with an orage undertone.

I will probably Konad it later tonight after the wee ones go to bed.

Any color suggestions for my next mani or any makeup look you want me to do please feel free to post your thoughts and ideas. My brains a bit mushy lately. :P
