Love Bites! ☠ Purple Haze

This is one of the gorgeous polishes that Lisa Sent me.

Love Bites, I love the Vampire teeth, Purple Haze.

And then I decided to use the fauxnad plate. It was misprinted but most of the images are still very usable and very cool.

I Stamped using Color Club Fashion Addict.

The image was almost long enough to go the length of my nail.

I'm still playing with the lighting on my lightbox to find what works best.

I love Purple Haze and the fauxnad! Lisa you rock, I thank you bunches and send you big sloppy kisses!

Though the weather outside is frightfull my neon green nails are soooo delightful!

I recieved this lovely little hottie in a swap with the lovely Flinty of Polish or Perish.

Pop Beauty Radioactive and since I can't leave well enough alone I added a coat of CND effects in Crimson shimmer, which you can't see in the pictures since we had no sunlight today.

P.S. I apologize for the lack of cleanup, my kids school let out early due to icy roads and snow so I never had time. :(

I could marry this polish if the little bish didn't demand 4 coats to be opaque.

CND Effects review

I recieved some samples from CND for review:

Inkwell-A deep blackened Blue creme

Silver chrome- Metallic silver

Effects copper shimmer-Sheer Milky white with tons of copper shimmer

Super Matte top coat

I decided to get a little creative.

I did 2 coats of Inkwell

sponged Silver chrome at the free edge

1 coat of Effects Copper shimmer

1 coat of Effects Scarlet shimmer (I already had this)

I love how it gave it a purple tone

Inkwell applied like a dream, opaque in two very thin coats and the CND brush is my new girlfriend!

Their brush is The bees knees, not too wide but wider than your standard brush, flat and just the right shape to give an excellent and easy application.

Silver Chrome is opaque in one coat, not streaky like most metallics and super sparkly.

The effects shimmers are fabulous, they do not dull or cover the color beneath but add amazing shimmer and that lit within look.

Super Matte top coat is not like your traditional matte top coat. It does not give the flat matte feel like most but it does add an interesting matte like apearance. I have to play with it more.

Now I want the rest of the effects and more CND colors! Did I mention that their brush is perfection?

Play date

Today was awesome!

I met Ange-Marie of Scandalously Polished for a short Nail polish play date!

Yay a beauty addict that lives near me! *swoon* (P.S. She is smokin' hot too, it's not fair at all!)

I won The gorgeous Diamond Cosmetics Cherry Tobacco in her giveaway and she delivered it in person!

So it was a double win! She also brought me OPI Sapphire in the snow.

We had coffee and I'm sure the people at my local coffee shop think we are crazy as loons after spending over an hour chatting non stop about nail polish!

I had so much fun, Ange-Marie is as sweet and adorable as her blog!

Yes we will be scheduling more Play Dates soon!

My nails for the moment are OPI Merry Midnight with CND effects in Scarlet shimmer.

I was hoping for more flakies but it's a bit sparse and they kind of get lost in the glitter.

I'm not sure if I love this or not?!

I do adore CND effects Scarlet Shimmer!

It's actually a nice bright pink shimmer.
