Todays Makeup and a Review of Pencil Me in Cosmetics Eye Liners

This is just a Quick look because I really wanted to try these eye liners.
I used  the following products:
Face: Just my e.l.f. Translucent Matifying powder
(my skin is all crazy right now, flaky dry spots and others oily. any suggestions greatly appreciated)

Eyes:
Femme Couture Mineral effects in Pink sand on outer 2/3 and extended out.
Also used a bone shade for highlight and a light blue from my Manly 88 Palette
Pencil me in Eye Accent Pencils in Jet Sparks (upper lash line) and Denim (Lower lash line)
Maybelline Full n Soft Black Mascara (I forgot to curl my lashes, oops)

Lips: Evil Shades lip gloss in Banshee

Pardon my hair, I'm growing it out so it's a wreck!

Now the Important part!

Pencil Me In Cosmetics Eye Accent Pencils...
I was very interested when I was given the oportunity to review these. I have been having trouble with my eyes being very sensitive to liner lately, especially on bad allergy days. So the quality og ingredients really drew me to them. Now the very cool fact that each one comes with a sharpener built into the lid is a major bonus.

This is an exerpt from their website:
The pencils are allergy and clinically tested to be non-irritating, eco-friendly, tamperproof and hygienic. Plus a pencil sharpener is cleverly built into every cap. The finest natural ingredients are included to appeal to retailers and consumers searching for premium natural products at a reasonable price. The suggested retail is $6.99 each. Anti-oxidants and vitamins have been included to help to protect the eye area from daily exposure to destructive elements your skin is exposed to. My exclusive formula includes natural ingredients and blended botanicals like Green Tea Leaf Extract, Pine Bark Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Lecithin, Shea Butter, Cacao Butter, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ oil, and Safflower seed oil. It also includes Vitamins A (Retinyl Palmitate), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), C (Ascorbic Acid), Vitamin D, E (Tocopherol)
Some pictures from pencilmeincosmetics.com have been used to show better detail.

My opinions:
I recieved Jet Sparks and Denim to review.
Jet Sparks is a soft black with silver glitter which I was Impressed to see actually showed quite well.
Denim is a pretty medium blue denim color with a very slight shimmer.

The application: Similar to most pencil liners. Not as smooth as a gel pencil but very precise. I really liked that this will work very well to do precision lining, and does not lose it's point so easily as many pencils do. They also smudge nicely but do not wear off or fade through the day.

Now what I really love is that these did not irritate my eyes at all. Today was a bad allergy day and neither color bothered my eyes at all. I also tested the Denim on my waterline yesterday just to see how non irratating they really are and I must admit that I had no problem at all. YAY!

Now I am a liquid liner girl but I will definatly buy a few more of these for precision lining and for days when my eyes just can't take the chemicals in liquid liner.

  2. Great review!! I've tried Pencil Me In from My Pretty Pink Box before. It really did work well for my allergy days! The color I got is this weird grey though, so I don't use it all too much. I love how the sharpener is built in though!
