*Waves* I have sat down to post so many times

and it never fails that work or family interrupts and I run out of time.

So I am glued to my seat and ignoring everything/everyone until I post this quick little post.

(P.S. I am setting up a few scheduled posts so nails coming soon and more whatever I feel like)

So this summer has been busy and insane but I managed to put a bit of

makeup on in between all of the AHHHHHhhhhhh....here is my quicky look

(Products used will be a mess through out because I like chaos)

Did I mention the pictures today are all crappy cell phone pictures because I had a new picture app that I was playing with. :o)

BB Cream in Etude House Magic Natural beige (way too light) mixed with my Skin miracle transformer in medium tan which is still a little too light but close.

Did I mention I did not do my hair because...well I was lucky to put on makeup and clothes

Don't mine the weird focus/lack of this phone app is cranky and likes to self edit even when you shut self edit off and threaten to take a million pictures of neon glitter.

Woohoo a color accurate eyeball! The ballz are sporting All Evil Shades (big shock)

Padawan as a base, Eerie as hilight below the brow, Frosties Intervention in the inner 1/3 and blended into Yellow snowballs (patted in the center and blended out) and Re gifted Xmas sweater applied very lightly and heavily blended in outer v, Whooo r u mixed with moonlit and brushed at inner corner, Havoc gel liner on upper lash line and Blithe on lower.

Look it's grumpy getting annoyed with stupid phone app

Do not clip phone on sun visor or you will get strange pictures when you forget to close stupid app. :o)

Oh look my Octopod necklace my oldest daughter got me for my birthday

Visor pictures rule....this is the top of my head...you know you've always wanted to know what the top of my head looked like

when you flip the visor to the side because you still haven't noticed you didn't turn the thing off

This is as subtle as my makeup goes anything less is naked. :op

Tropical Watercolor eyes

It's been so hot & humid lately that I decided to do a tropical-ish look.

But then my hubby's doc said that my eyes looked like a beautiful watercolor painting ergo the title

There aren't many full face pictures because after this one the Hot Guy had to take the pictures,

(My arthritis has been a demon lately) and his pictures had more boobies and butt than makeup so I will just have to break out my tripod next time.

Oh look, my eyebrow almost looks like normal peoples

The inner color is more peach than it showed on camera

I swear no matter what each eye turns out different

You can see the greens really well and I'm loving Ravishing blush with the greens

I just did a very thin line of Faerie Garden to line the top....black liner might have looked better

Look no creasing! These were taken at 6pm and I applied at 8am so yay

Photonic green spectrum pot on outer 2/3 of lid and up just above crease

Vitrum(white) spectrum pot on inner 1/3 of lid and blended up and into the green

MAC vanilla on brow bone

*This is where it gets crazy*

The peachy orange is un-named and will be up on the site tonight

The yellow green is a mix of Faerie garden and Twinkle Twinkle that I mixed as I applied

The tealish green is Mystisizm blended into the crease & outer v

upper lid lined with Faerie Garden

Lower lash lined with Imp foiled (new one will be up tonight) and then

I smudged a bit of the Faerie Garden Twinkle mix just below

Sephora volume mascara

Joey Healy brow kit (I love this so much)

Lips:

Clear wicked gloss

My hair is an utter wreck...I ran out of time so I ruffled my spikes a bit and clipped the front back. lol

My cupcake earrings were on clearance at Clarie's $1.00 YAY

Dark Princess with Dragon's Wing

This was a request from my Tweeter girls.

We were talking lipstick and combo's and I mentioned how pretty

Evil Shades Dark Princess is when you top it with ES Hardcore lips Dragon's Wing and as the saying goes...It doesn't exist unless there are pictures! lol

In shade you can just see a bit of the teal shimmer and a bluer tone to Dark Princess

Indoor lighting it looks more blurple

In direct sunlight you get a beautiful aqua shift floating over the purple base

I just kept turning in different angles of the sunlight so you can see it change

I dabbed Dragon's Wing on top of Dark Princess with my finger...a little Dragon's Wing goes a long way....ask any wizard!

Magically a flash of green over the purple!

I think this is one of my favorite lip combo's because I can match it to my nails! hehe

I am no Caged Gypsy!

I had time to sit down and do my makeup before taking my 10 year old daughter to get her hair cut.

This is a pretty typical look for me...bright, sparkly and lots of purple.

I did not have time to flat iron my hair....oops

This is Caged Gypsy, I'm working on a matte lipstick formula...not there yet but getting closer

(Pardon my old lady lips)

I'm calling this a "Suede" since to some Matte cannot have shimmer and Caged Gypsy is a metallic matte so she has lots of depth and is a very interesting Pink with warm coral undertones but still somewhat cool toned rose shade.

And then I changed lippies to my beloved Hardcore lips Lost Kiss

I love this type of color with the perfect pink and the blue/violet shift

taken in natural light/shade

In way too bright sunlight

Crazy angle to show the aqua sparkles

Pink and purple combo's are my go to eye look

And then I discovered "Noise reduction" on Windows live photo viewer....yeah it makes a strange foggy affect but I left it on this one for fun.

Matte Silk (T-Zone and under eyes)

Blush in Pink Noise- A deep rose with pink glow (Not up on the site yet because I need better pictures)

I wear very little on my face but in summer even less

Eyes:

Spectrum pot in Visible Violet on lid and blended up above crease

Evileyes primer in Naked below brow bone

Gift River all over lid and blended up to just above the crease

Nixies in outer 2/3 of crease to deepen

Phyrra's Fantasy in inner 1/3 of crease and just into nixies and blended into Gift River above crease

White Witch from brow blended down

Voodoo wetlined on upper lash line

Tokidoki perfeto liner in Mostro on lower lash line (waterproof my arse I smudged it accidental after 30 minutes on my lower lash line so I had to smudge the other eye to match and an hour later it had totally disappeared)

Sephora Action Extreme Effect Mascara in black (Not as Extreme as I'd hoped but not bad, a little flaky)

Lips:

So there you have it, my typical look and my go to colors.

(Side note I wore this look out in 98 degree heat for 6 hours then swimming and not a crease, yay)

New haircut & Makeup

Yesterday I had my beloved Elaine cut my hair (It needed it for about a month)

And as much as I loved my last cut (You can see it here) you all know I get bored easily so

I designed a new style and handed my wishlist and crazy hair over to Elaine.

It's a much shorter, choppier version of what I had

Oh and did I mention spikie? I love funky spiked mussy hair

I love my hair and my Elaine!

And look what was hiding on the back of my head...do you see that little tuft of white, just about half way down and dead center! lol How cool is that, now if the rest would just follow suit I wouldn't have to bleach at all! :o)

See I can look all sexy...ok no I can't but I can try or at least pretend!

Any of you that know me well know that I own Evil Shades Cosmetics....I am the owner, creator, order packer, shipping coordinator, hell I'm the entire freakin assembly line. Now the awesome part is that I am so busy that most days I don't even have time to wear makeup other than a quick 5 minute splash. Yesterday I had time to purty up or as hubby says I got my Hot girl face on. lol

Here is why I rarely post my makeup looks...I have very small very hooded eyes so a couple of things happen when I put my eyes on. 1- as soon as I open my eyes all you can see is mascara, liner and eyebrow. 2- I crease so badly and so quickly and no primer can stop it since it is due to the extreme eye fold which is only getting worse with age. It's frustrating and it makes it very hard to take pictures.

But guess what happened to day....no real creasing....really?

These pictures were taken 7 hours after I applied (I did not touch up anything except I changed my gloss)

I am guessing that this was due to my Spectrum pot that I used as a base. I actually had been afraid that it would crease worse. I used Prysm pink on my lid and then gently blended it up 2/3 of the way which is why my highlight below my brow is barely left at all.

I wore E/S Hardcore lips in Midnight Candy the first part of the day because for me it is a my lips but better color. (My lips are very wine stained in color naturally)

Then I switched to E/S Hardcore lips in Lost Kiss which is a nice candy pink with a purple shift

-Spectrum pot in Pink Prysm

-Franken shadow #8 on outer 2/3rds of lid and blended up above the crease

-Sephiric on inner 1/3 of lid and blended up and into #8

- Summer Lights in Vacation Paradise blended from brow down and in tear duct

-Reondite foiled for upper lash line and smudged into lower lash

-Rimmel volume mascara black(It's getting goopy)

Brows-

Sorry I've been busy

I am trying to post more regularly but I got rather busy

trying to finish up some work and when things start rolling I lose track of everything until it's finished.

So what stole me away from you....

My new Spectrum pots!

I have been working on this formula since early December.

Originally the idea was to be the fat liner pencils but that was a huge fail about 3000 times.

So I changed gears and looked to making them pots and TADA...it worked!

These are not a gel liner but more a cross between "paint pots" and "jumbo pencils" they work like a brightly colored sticky base, a creamy liner or a lid color. Since they are wax based (more like a liner) they apply best with a stiff angled liner brush, a sponge tip applicator, cotton swab or your finger.

These are the first 6 colors with many more to come.

I am very proud of the outcome and excited to see what everyone thinks.

I also spent a lot of time hunting down leak-proof non glass sample tubes so I can offer

my Hardcore lips in a sample size. I finally found a fit and tested it to death so now samples are available.

Oh and last night the lovely MoreSynthPlease caught my up in a spur of the

moment lipstick creation that stormed into a new product that I have not decided on if it will be Limited edition or something more but here she is...
