Ohhh, my worst nightmare was probably last night. It started with a happy party with close friends and family, and ended up with a demon infiltration from another dimension, setting the world on a path of chaos and apocalypse. It was pretty intense. Thankfully, it was also like watching a movie unfold, so I took notes once I woke up. I may try and write it into a series of short stories or a novel.

My worst nightmare is a recurring one I am biking up a hill (or it could be a mountain) on a dirt trail and I go skidding off the edge and free falling. I've never landed in the dream but I wake up gasping every time. It's freaky!

My worst nightmares actually happen on a regular basis ): I don't remember the nightmares but I wake up with the worst kind of chilling fear. If I remember my nightmares, it usually has to do with a stalker or running away in desperation.

ReplyDeleteHmm, one of the worst nightmares was one I actually had recently, in which I was trapped in my bed, in my room, but my room was somehow rotted, and trees and plants were growing into it, and all sorts of huge, creepy bugs and spiders were living in my room. Normally it wouldn't have buggged me so much, but it was a bit of a waking nightmare, because I thought I'd woken up from from another dream, only to then feel trapped in a nightmare, since I was unabel to wake up for real. Left me in quite a bit of a panic, it did.

I go through episodes of sleep paralysis and night terrors, so I've had too many nightmares to count. :( They usually involve a faceless demon/ghost/spirit (whatever you want to call it) stearing down at me while I sleep. I "wake up" to see them hovering over me, but I can't move, breath, or hear anything. All I can feel is some unseen force pushing my whole body down into the bed, and it gets stronger and stronger until I finally wake-up for real. Scares me everytime, no matter what.

I dreamt that I was in a bad, campy zombie movie, and my husband was making the slow progression from human to mindless zombie. I follow through GFC. My worst nightmare was losing my first kidney transplant in 2004. My mom had donated to me and it just crushed me to lose that kidney. When the doctors had to remove the kidney I asked if they could let me keep it in a jar, but they wouldn't let me.

My worst nightmare would be to wake up and realize I have turned into my mother. Not that mothers are bad, I am one myself, but mine is a violent addict who tends to justify whatever she does with " I am a victim of circumstances". I don't want to be like that. ReplyDeleteI don't dream much (am I sad or what), but when I do my dreams are rather unsettling. Not like nightmare-scary, but just wow-that-was-really-weird kind of unsettling. The worst dream I had was probably one where I was lost in a maze and I couldn't get out. Doesn't sound scary, but its unsettling!

My sweetest dream is when I am with my ex and he is so nice (he was a real d-head) and we were so happy just doing everyday things...Kinda lame but when I wake up from it, it makes me feel so good :)

I had the worst nightmare of my life the other day. It was really graphic and scary. Some woman was attacked by something and decapitated. Well nearly decapitated, her head was barely hanging on. And she was still alive somehow. She couldn't talk but she was thrashing around in panic. The expression in her eyes was the scariest part and I can still picture it vividly. I woke up gasping for air, that has never happened to me before!

ReplyDeleteSweetest Dream is when I dream I can fly. It's really odd though. I either have some item (like a playground style rubber ball) that I have to sit on to float about...but my favorite flying dreams are when I jump into the air and begin to "swim" through the air. A breast stroke works wonders and I can go up up and away. :) Doesn't do much for "wind in my hair" but it sure feels real when I'm dreaming. I really hate waking up from those dreams.
My worst nightmare was I was getting married to this guy that I really really didn't like and I told him that I didn't want to marry him but for some reason everyone thought I said yes and I went to the wedding and when the preacher said you may kiss the bride I kissed him on the cheek and we went to the hotel and I said " Well I'm really tired...so goodnight" and locked him out. I woke up crying

ReplyDeleteMy dream is a cross between nightmare and sweet dream, because it was scary and at the same time really funny. I dreamt that I was in a bad, campy zombie movie, and my husband was making the slow progression from human to mindless zombie. So I took a shotgun, handed it to my 5 year old son, and told him to shoot his dad...it was tough times, and he had to learn.

My parents dragged me all the way to the altar in this small white church; I was screaming so much. Then the priest did something, muttered something, and pointed at me, and it was like I was shot

and then my view panned down, like I was slowly being pulled up into the air, and the white carpet was slowly becoming bright red with my blood.
It's a horrifying feeling. I guess you could say I dreamed of my own death. Odd, I usually dream of others dying. That was the one time I died.

My worst nightmares actually happen on a regular basis ): I don't remember the nightmares but I wake up with the worst kind of chilling fear. If I remember my nightmares, it usually has to do with a stalker or running away in desperation.
My best dreams are fantasy ones (: Especially with dragons.
