I have been using Dermelect Makeover Ridgefiller for about 3 weeks.
Here is what Dermelect says on their website about this product:
Anti-Aging Base Coat- Dual Concealer and Nail Treatment
Dermelect Makeover Ridge Filler achieves beautifully natural nails by multitasking to cleverly conceal nail imperfections with a natural pink hue while treating them with protein, vitamins and much needed moisture. The innovative, anti-aging treatment utilizes ProSina, a unique delivery system of protein peptides to strengthen weak nails and make them resistant to splits and breaks. In addition, Pentavitin, a crucial moisture binding agent, acts like a water magnet for your dry, brittle nails and correctly restores the moisture balance resulting in increased flexibility. Two remarkable anti-aging formulas in one innovative treatment will transform your damaged nails into a makeover sensation.
My nails are not weak and I don't have ridges, but my nails are badly stained,
dry and can be brittle.
I did not do a before picture because what I need does not show in pictures. Other than I had hoped this would help reduce or prevent stains. (I did not and I have yet to find that miracle)
Try not to notice the stained yuck
Her is what I have experianced with Dermelect Makeover:
I like the opal pink color to this. People without stains or very minor ones could easily wear this alone.
It dries quickly and has no harsh odor. The brush is nice quality. The formula is a bit thinner than most treatments that I've used which for me is great because it doesn't add extra dry time or make my polish look thick and odd.
After 3 weeks of use I have noticed that my nails are more flexible and I have had no splits along the sides where I normally get tiny hairline splits. So I am impressed and I will continue to use Dermelect Makeover to see just how much it does for my nails long term. I will update you in a few weeks.
