As you all know Chris plays guitar so this site caught my attention very quickly.
They make bracelets from recycled guitar strings. Cool and environmentally friendly!
I received 3 bracelets from Wear your music. From their Fashion bracelets line. A percentage of the profits from these bracelets are donated to charities that support music.
1 simply silver for me! YAY
1 guitar god gold and 1 Rock America for a fun little giveaway.
They also have Artist bracelets made with used donated guitar strings from many great guitarists. The Artist bracelets are more but a percentage of those proceeds go to charities of the artists choosing which is also very cool!
Review time:
My Simply silver guitar string bracelet is very comfy and cute. I think I might hang a charm on it. They are a spring like design so one size fits most. I checked and it goes far enough that I could wear it as an anklet if I chose. They are pretty sturdy, my 18 month old hellion gladly tested and retested the durability. She tried desperately to break it and not a chance. lol
Go check out their website to see all the great artists and styles:

ReplyDeletemy love of music has gotten me through so much. i have chronic fatigue syndrome, as well as a few other illnesses, and music (and NP, lol) has kept me calm and helped me focus on something other than being sick. i'd be lost without music.
my email is heyhey love 87 @ gmail .com
Music reminds me of my father, who passed away in 1996. He loved almost all types of music, and I can still picture him singing along to Meatloaf! Most of my best (and worst) memories have a song, and I have a running soundtrack to life in my head!

ReplyDeleteI love this bracelet!! I am learning to play guitar, so I am very excited about this giveaway. I am trying to master the White Stripes 7 Army song. Wish me luck!
My family seems to run off music. I can't keep the ipods fully charged around here. I need my daily dose of Zeromancer or The Birthday Massacre in order to function.

ReplyDeleteMusic has, in theory, saved my life multiple times. Whether it was a concert that changed my perception of things or a song that make me shut up and take notice, there is not point in my life that isn't surrounded in music. Not a single one.
Love,
JP

Ooo, enter me, those bracelets are awesome! I have a guitar, but my family is more of a "bagpipes" family haha!
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty awesome looking. Music is my life next to makeup and polish. My Mother always had the radio on loudly and sang all the time. I was babysat by American Bandstand and Dick Clark. My Mother put it on and I danced and had a good time while she got work done. The Beatles changed my life. I never looked back after that. I loved English bands and still am thrilled by an English accent. I listen to music all day long. It's on in my bedroom till I go to sleep. I love most types of music and can stomach most but boyband and Britany Spears type of music. I love rock music. I used to go to loads of concerts when I was younger. Can't do it anymore because of health reasons. Now that I'm older I still listen to new bands but I can't remember their names? It stinks getting old! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and rock on!

ReplyDeleteI love almost any kind of music but my favorite of all time is still ZZTop. My 17yr old daughter plays guitar. My 10yr old son wants to learn to play guitar, he likes to sing (so cute). The rest of us love to listen and be entertained. :)

Even though my fiance and I disagree on the definition of good music, when I hear it, I still soak it in. Good music has always been meditation for me, when it's on, I can just stare at the ceiling for hours and think!

aww! this is such a cute idea! I still wear a guitar pick necklace a high school ex made me out of one of his guitar picks. I love music jewelry, and I listen to everything. Well, except maybe polka. Yeah, not polka...
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I've been a music lover since I was a small child and would borrow my grandma's old Nat King Cole and swing albums. I branched out from there, and now my musical tastes are extremely varied. My favorite band will always be Pink Floyd, but I listen to all kinds of stuff, from Nevermore to Sarah Brightman to String Cheese Incident to Louis Armstrong, I'm definitely someone who enjoys music. And I play the piano, too.:)
ReplyDeleteMusic has always had a very powerful impact on me. My father would play the guitar and sing Beach Boys' songs to me when I was a little girl and those memories are very treasured. I don't particularly identify with one genre of music and can enjoy La Boheme as much as I enjoy Rob Zombie.

ReplyDeleteAbout the music:
"I lived a life till I met you
God knows I tried to live without you
I wore no fashion accessories
No doubts or fears inside of me
I know I feel I want a change
Into my life now gone derange
I Know I feel I have to choose it
A lifetime of rock n’ roll music
Rock n’ Roll has saved my soul
Oh my god such a cliché
Know your truth, know it everyday..."

ReplyDeleteMusic is so amazing to me. I used to listen to my Grandpa play the guitar all the time and it was so comforting.
I am currently listening to all things Paramore.

I love all kinds of music, is like nail polish colors, every sound is special and unique. Is the universal language, no frontiers.
ReplyDeleteLoyal follower! :) Music is a huge part of my life. I can easily define whole periods of my life with a single song.
ReplyDeleteI love music, period. Though when I was younger I used to "discriminate" and say that I hated a certain genre, or that I would never listen to a specific artist, I have grown out of that. My favorite songs are the kind that make me feel something intensely and passionately, no matter how un-poetic the feeling may be. And it inspires me to translate what I feel into all kinds of mediums-- poetry, art, photography, and even make-up!
