OK I know that is beyond sugary sweet lame.
I got a wild hair to franken tonight and I made a happy! A greyed blue with mega pink sparkling shimmer.
I let someone help me name it (not mentioning any names) and HE (hint) had a mental laps and got all sweet and gushy and the color reminded this person of a very sweet memory. So I'm keeping the name.
The pink shimmer did not show well in the pictures, oddly since it's very obvious in person.
How on Earth do you ladies that reuse bottles get the lables off? It was torture.
Oh and washing the car is not great on the cuticles or skin! :(
And then my camera went insane.
Oh look you can sort of see the pink shimmer here.
Here is the shimmer all blurry.
I am trying to franken more and get less pefectionist about it.
Any ideas on frankens?
Very pretty franken and super sweet name! Its lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous Franken :-D And I love the name, everyone's allowed to get gushy every now and then ;)
ReplyDeleteAwwh, both the colour and name are sweet :3
ReplyDeleteI remember having to go around and remove the sticky labels off shelves at an old job once, we smothered them in eucalyptus oil or something, left them for a while, then came back and they scraped off pretty easy.
I'd like to see you do a bright pink with green sparkles :D
What a chic franken! Very in vogue right now. :)
ReplyDeleteI use Goo Gone to remove sticker residue.
Ooooh! I'm glad you added shimmer to this franken, and a pink one at that. Awesome combination!!!
ReplyDeleteVVery nice delicate purples and blues! It reminds me of Diable Bleu, one of my favourite eau de toilettes):
ReplyDeleteJust thought I would drop by and say Hi, I am a new "beauty" blogger and have recently found yours :)

The color is lovely and what a sweet name! Nail polish remover and a straight edge razor will remove those pesky labels. Just take a piece of felt and soak the label real good and take the razor (which has been placed in a straight edge razor holder) and scrape the label off. And if the idea of a straight edge razor freaks you out, something similar that is used for scraping will do.
ReplyDeleteLove you on the nail board

Gorgeous frankie! I'm completely without ideas at the moment...I guess I can't be any help in this.
ReplyDeleteThis is AWESOMELY GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteNot muc for frankening myself, but I love living vicariously - and boy do you not sell your skills short!! Pretty awesom!!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work - changing tires, washing cars, frankening np, being a mom, being a wife, being a blogger - you're just the every woman all wrapped up into one!! I'm tired FOR you!! :-)
That is such a sweet name. He must've been thinking of you when he named it. I've never frankened before so I'm no help. Soak your nails in some warmed olive oil. That what a friend of mine said to do for dry cuticles and problems with your nails. She's been a beautician for many years. I love that shade. Looks really pretty on you.
ReplyDeleteThank You Lucy, I'll do a little soak before my parafin dip.
ReplyDeleteI'm tired for me too! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank You Lovie! :*
ReplyDeleteThank you! Impossible, you are never out of ideas! :)
ReplyDeleteThank You Marsha, I will try that next time.
ReplyDeleteHello lovie!

It's just weird when non gushy people get gushy. :)
