1000 baby angels are crying right now because my camera failed me.
I made the prettiest franken ever (suggested by a reader, sorry can't remember who).
It is a bright pink with tons of lime green sparkley shimmer, but stupid camera did not pick up the green.
So here are the depressing pictures of a franken success failed by photography.
What looks like boring silver shimmer is actually lime green.
:(
Do you hear the angel crying?
Almost but nope.
Bastage!
Still no
Closeup....still no green
Blurry?
So no matter what I did the pretty lime green would not appear in pictures.
I took eleventy billion pictures, outside, inside, lightbox, flash, shade.
So you'll just have to take my word on it and imagine the green.
this is so pretty!! I can only imagine how gorgeous it would be in real life!!! =D
ReplyDeleteWow, that would be soooooooooooooo pretty :>
ReplyDeleteOh NEAT idea! Dammit, I would love to have seen the pretty. It's still a pretty color though!
ReplyDeleteAww. It's still pretty though!
ReplyDeleteI LOLed pretty hard when I saw "bastage!" :]
Love it! I think it's just too hot to capture on camera. ;) But I can imagine how cool the green shimmer is... Pink suit s you great. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't care about that shimmer, this polish still looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour making me laugh and I need it. I've slept for maybe a half hour. I get what I call a nervous body and nervous legs. I can feel it run up my spine and my legs and feet feel crazy. Drives me nuts, this is the second night. Anyway sorry about that. Your franken is amazing and I'm imagining the green shimmer. Must look gorgeous in person. I also can't believe how fast your nails are growing! They'll soon be back to their former glory. Mwah!
ReplyDeleteDid you use very, very fine glitter? I have CG Sprinkles which has something in it in the bottle that doesn't show up much on the nail. Hate it when that happens. ;o( Grim.
ReplyDeleteI'll use my imagination ;]

ReplyDeletePLEASE concider makign a few to sell....then sell them all to me! LOL
oooh ooh and if you are not making to sell tell us how to make it ourselves - pink with green sparkly yes yes
ReplyDeleteThe pink itself is beautiful. I can see the shimmer but not the lime green bits. But we trust you, Evil Angel. We trust you. :)
ReplyDeleteits still pretty without the shimmah!
ReplyDeleteNothing frustrates me more than a polish that won't show up correctly in photos!
ReplyDeleteOooh it's still pretty, i can't imagine what it looks like in real life *__*

What are you talking about? These are gorgeous. And do your nails naturally grow like weeds or is that just a bionic alteration that you've gotten? :D It's been what? 2 weeks since you changed that tire??? DANG!
ReplyDeleteAww my uncle always said bastage. :)
ReplyDeleteAren't cameras disobeying sometimes? They need a good spank, that's what I say, ah ah. Anyway, I trust you about the green. ;)
ReplyDeleteNow is that me or your nails have significantly grown up already? If yes, that's nice!
