Just a little background on my makeup brush issues...
I have had 30 or more sets of makeup brushes. Some very high end, Pro, E.L.F. (these are pretty good), I've been through them all. Some are worth their weight others are recycle bin warmers at best.
I found these two sets of brushes at Born Pretty Store (yes the nail art heaven site)
And I figured for the price they were worth checking out. So I ordered.
Cute pink roll
$6.45 USD seriously
Metallic copper roll
$17.49 USD
Now the prices are freaking amazing right?
The important stuff:
The roll is great, not cheap plastic or flimsy fabric and no crappy plastic brush cover that breaks the brushes and makes them shed. Nice and durable with well fitting slots. The brushes them selves are very, very good quality and soooooo soft on your skin. (I love soft brushes) The eyeshadow brushes are my new favorites ever! They are soft on the skin but not wimpy, sad cheapies that couldn't blend to save their bristles.
The slanted brush in the little pink roll is my favorite for geting a nice thin line and the blending with the round brushes is awesome.
I highly reccomend these and check the other beauty products on the site...they have some nice gel liners and some really cute eyeshadow pallets that I might have to order very soon!
Thank you so much for posting this! I'm always looking for cheap brushes that aren't cheaply made!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a great brush set for sale on my blog, you should check it out! It's my newest post! Great blog you have.

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I can't get over the prices. I have 2 teenage sisters that complain about how they don't have brushes and how they can't afford to buy them (because it is expensive if you're thinking MAC or something like that). I think I'm going to buy them both a copper roll.
ReplyDeleteOh, Great..Will have to check these out...Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pink set...will have to check them out!
ReplyDeleteAre the brushes synthetic or natural hair? Both sets look cute. You know i'm an ecoTools brush fan (affordable and good quality), so I always love to see other affordable, quality brushes :)
ReplyDeleteWell, there goes my fat wallet...here comes my not-quite-as-fat-but-not-starving wallet! I need the last one, it has so many brushes! And I love the price.
ReplyDeleteWorth it for the brush rolls alone imo!
ReplyDeletelol That's what I thought when I ordered them. :)
ReplyDeleteI almost got that one but I wanted the little one for my purse.
ReplyDeleteThey are synthetic and soft, my favorite combo
ReplyDeleteBe careful, it's easy to find tons of goodies on their site.
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to pass on info on good cost effective stuffs!
ReplyDeleteWill you be my Sister too? Mine always gives crappy gifts. lol
ReplyDeleteGlad to help!
ReplyDeleteThey look really nice. I wish I had seen these before I had spent so much money of more expensive brushes/sets.
ReplyDeleteI just received my Born Pretty order and I was so impressed! I'll defintely pick these up when I place my next order. The price can't be beat!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is just what I need, I do not ahve a full set of brushes, and this sounds great!
ReplyDeleteThe roll is worth that price!
