I got another crazy idea for a fun shirt that didn't exist so I made it.
1 light green T shirt 2 sizes too big.
Fabric paint
Jewelry chain
And imagination.
It's not quite finished but I wore it anyway.
My new favorite shirt
End result....One happy DIY'r and a 2 ladies at the Mall pissed because they couldn't have it!
P.S. The awesome necklace was a gift from my dear friend Stiletto and the ladies at the mall can't have it either! :oP***
What is your creative outlet? Mine are obvious...just read through this crazy blog.
OMG I love the shirt! I wish I could make my own shirts like that :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shirt! I think it's really funny people are pisesd it can't be bought, and I understand why they are. You look so cute in it!

ReplyDeleteThat's hot. Now I want one too :)
ReplyDeleteMy outlet is definitely my nails.
I love it- I discovered my DIY- crazyness before my polish addiction and it's gotten way to less attention but summer holidays are comming soon, so more time to play with my fabric and then paint my fingers ^^
ReplyDeletedid you use (freezer paper) stencils or a regular paint brush?
Love the t-shirt. I would like it to fit you. When clothing is the correct size and fitted nicely you look thinner. I think your so talented with all that you do. I've gotten incredibly lazy about doing anything. I haven't made t-shirts in years. I made a ton of them for Christmas and other holidays. Also loaded with gem stones. I wore them all to the Post Office where I worked. I worked in the factory part processing mail. Now I just paint my darn nails. How did you do all the things on your shirt. You need to do a post about it. You impress me greatly. Mwah!
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteI love it- I've discovered my diy madness before my polish-addiction and since that my diy projects have been sitting there, waiting to be sewn/reconstructed, but summer's just around the corner and after the exam-marathon the last week of june I'll take out my sewing mashine :D
ReplyDeletedid you use a (freezer paper) stencil or draw them free-hand?
This is really cool, and how did you connect the chain? I'd love to know. I've knitted a bit and I almost like it, but I think it's a better hobby for a math-brain. I've done some tshirts and that has always been fun. I am learning the GIMP with my drawing tablet and hope to get skilled at that, but I'm mostly excited to learn piano. Always wanted to learn, and I'm finally going to do it. I've written some songs, but never the music, that will be my ultimate creative outlet. For now, I'm enjoying nail polish. :)
ReplyDeleteI made the chain removable for washing. I used hook and eye closures connected to each end of the chain and the other end sewed to the inside of the shirt.
ReplyDeleteI've been DIYing since I was little. Mom called it redesign, lol
ReplyDeleteI used both, stencils for the lips and bitten heart and the rest was freehand.
I would've liked it more if it fit better aswell but my origional plan for the shirt called for excess and then I got this idea and just used what I had. lol I'm cheap.
ReplyDeleteI guess I need to open EvilAngel's crazy clothing shop now also. lol
ReplyDeleteThank you love.
ReplyDeleteI need to do these things once in a while or I get bored.lol
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteIt's a sickness. :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's my favorite. A treasured gift from Stiletto, whom has amazing taste!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it's talent or lack of fear. lol
ReplyDeleteThey are more fun than off the rack, imo.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't hard to make. I might do a tutorial for fun.
ReplyDeleteIf I do a tutorial will you try to make one?
ReplyDeleteAs Paris Hilton would say... THATS HOT :D That t-shirt is so fine :D
ReplyDeletelovely t shirt :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! This shirt turned out great. My creative outlet is painting itty bitty art on my itty bitty nails.
ReplyDeleteIs that red hair I see?
ReplyDeleteFabulous shirt too! So creative! I understand why those girls at the mall were bitter about not being able to have one just like it.
This is so cute! And oh hai pretty ladyyyyyyy ;]
ReplyDeleteI wish I could make stuff like this, but any sewing beyond mending a rip or reattaching a vest strap frustrates me because my hands are so clumsy! So my main creative outlet is usually knitting, preferably with big needles. Right now I'm making stripey blankets that involve knitting extra-wide/long scarfy-things and sewing several of them together. We're moving from England to Scotland in the autumn so I figured it would help with adjusing to the colder climate...
