CND Night Factory set

Dark, vampy, shimmery, modern and sexy!
Is there anything more a girl could want for fall?
CND The look for fall Night Factory set gives you a perfect twist on fall vampy
with Urban Oasis and Teal Sparkle.
Urban Oasis is a vampy but not blackened teal creme, nearly opaque in one coat.
Teal Sparkle is well sparkly teal with a bit of yellowy gold mixed in.
I did a "gradient look with it so that the shimmer would be stronger at the base of my nails and subtler toward the tip. I love the effect!

Overall formula on both is very nice, smooth fluid but not runny.
Coverage is great with both, obviously it's shear with Teal Sparkle. lol
Brush...love the CND brush, not to wide but not skinny and wimpy.
I can think of so many combinations to do with just these two.

What do you think of this vampy yet not pitch black version for fall?

Color Club Untamed Luxury Every Shades of Indulgence

These are beautiful fall shades with a fabulous formula!
Each is 2 coats with no top coat. Smooth application and very nice pigment.
Beautiful platinum white with silvery white shimmer
Wild Orchid is more of a grey with orchid shimmer but a favorite none the less
Positively Posh is a shade of the popular rich fall brown
Soft as Cashemere is the ever popular grey/beige
Nothing but Truffle is a deep brown with plum shimmer
Jewel of a Girl is a plum shimmer

Ready to Royal is a vampy wine

BB Couture Infamous Lovers Her collection

I love the idea of having a His & Hers collection to compliment each other.
I have the Hers half for you

Pocahontas is a taupe creme with random specs of black glitter
Application was BB Coutures usual dreamy 2 coats of awesome.
This is with no top coat. These types of colors do not suit my skin tone which is a shame because this one is quite interesting and pretty.

Juliet is a medium peach creme that for some reason did not want to have her picture taken.
On me it looks between a nude and calamine lotion but in the bottle, on nail wheel and on my daughter it is a pretty creamy peach. I wish it was on me but my skin tone is odd.
The application was fabulous almost a one coater.

Cleopatra is a teal with glowy blue shimmer that transforms this color to a beautiful and unique shade of yum!
This is 2 coats of love!

Eve is a warm olive green jelly with lots of lighter green glitter.
This is without top coat and it is a bit bumpy but one coat of top coat and you'd never know.
This is 3 coats and very nice coverage for a jelly.

Bonnie is a emerald green jelly with diamond/silver glitter.
Very nice coverage at 3 coats and builds very easily and even.

Carla is a deep red toned purple with blue micro shimmer which gives a very lovely contrast.
This is 2 coats with no top coat.

I think this is a very unique collection and the variety of shades makes it work well on many different skin tones and tastes. I am excited to get the His half of the collection now.
Do you have any favorites?

OPI swiss Collection Fall 2010 Part 2 the Shimmers

I can't even say how awesome these colors are so I'll let the pictures say it all.
Glitzerland is my least favorite but only because gold does not look good on me.
This is 2 coats with great application.

The Color to Watch makes me drool!
A complex purple with lighter purple shimmer it almost shifts blue.
3 coats but very worth it!

Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous is a sweet gunmetal foil.
3 coats and so pretty!

Diva of Geneva oh how I love you!
The sexiest wine shimmer ever!
2 coats of perfect!

The Hot Guy loves this one a lot!
Beautiful Emerald green with blueish green shimmer.

OPI Swiss Collection Fall 2010 Part 1 The cremes

OPI's Swiss collection is coming in Fall 2010

These are the 6 creme's of the collection inspired by Sweden.
The only thing that would have made me more excited about this collection is if it had come with a round trip ticket to Sweden. Feline can I sleep on your couch?
(Explaination: I know the collection is refering to Switzerland but I don't happen to have friends there so I'd like to swap for Sweden or maybe a full European tour...a stop in Slovenia, Norway, Finland, The Netherlands Hi Rozie, The UK and a quick stop in to see Lily in Frace.)
This collection is full of rich fall shades with a bit of funn tossed in.

Color so Hot it Berns- Classic Red creme very slightly pink toned.
I am a red addict so I always get excited over a new red.

I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic- a brown toned red creme
The color is very pretty but as you can see my skin tone makes it less brown toned and more brick red which it is not. So for those who can wear these lovely shades...you're going to love this one!

From a to Zurich is a pink toned wine.
I love these rich colors for fall, though I wear them year round.

Just a Little Rosti at this- a perfect deep wine
More purple than FAtZ and deeper, richer shade.

William Tell me about OPI- a deep plum
This is my favorite of the creme's. Vampy but not blackened and very clearly plum in all light.
Drooooool

Ski Teal we Drop- a dark teal creme
This a sexy deep teal. I think it is easily the best teal creme I've seen in a while.

The formula was OPI's normal fabulous. Ski Teal we Drop was a bit thinner than the rest but not runny.
I will be  back soon with the other half of the collection.

Are you looking forward to Fall or trying to hang on to Summer?
I'm ready for Fall but can we skip Winter?

China Glaze Fight like a Woman swatches

I love the name of this special LE collection!
Fight Like A Woman! Some of the strongest and most courageous people I've met are women!

China Glaze Nail Lacquer Gets the Gloves Ready to Join in the
Fight Against Breast Cancer
Join China Glaze Nail Lacquer this October in the battle against breast cancer, one nail at a time! The professional line of nail lacquers brings on the fight with three powerful pinks. Inspired by the women who fight everyday and those that support them in their battle, these fabulous shades are sure to help you defeat the toughest opponents with style and class. China Glaze representative Rachel Schafer voiced that “in an industry dominated by women, for women, it is important that we strive to work together towards finding a cure.”

Offer your fellow women some Encouragement!
A very soft sweet baby pink with a beautiful sprinkling of glass fleck shimmer.
This is no boring baby pink! I think if you are one of those that need work appropriate color but want to a little fun....this is ideal! A little sheer, this is 3 coats but worth it in my opinion.

Empowerment is something all women deserve!
Empowerment is a lovely bubblegum pink creme.
Everyone needs a good bubblegum pink creme in their collection!
This is 2 coats with no top coat.

To be a strong and conquering woman you'll need Endurance!
Endurance is a stunning hot pink glass flecked jelly.
It is sheer as most jellies are. This is 3 coats. I absolutly adore this color and if you only get one color from this collection I highly reccomend Endurance!

Great job China Glaze! I honestly did not think I would be impressed with these but color me wrong!

Zoya Wicked Collection Fall 2010 swatches

Zoya has pulled it off again!
The Wicked half of the Wonderful Wicked collection for this fall is 6 shades of hotness!
The fun part is that after seeing swatches on many of my favorite blogs I've figured out that these seem to apear to change accourding to both the lighting and the skin tone of the wearer.

Kym is one that every blog that has swatched it has described it differently.
From brown toned red to mauve/red and guess what I'm going to add one more description to the list.
To me Kym looks like a warm orange toned red with gold sparks mixed in.
A very pretty shade but not a great color on me.

Carrie Ann is a pink toned red. A very pretty shade but nothing super special.

Karina is a medium neutral toned red. My best description would be a metallic version of Ruby Pumps.
Very pretty and would compliment most any skin tone nicely. alas it still another red and with the over 150 reds that I own this is one I do not have a similar or dupe of.

Cheryl is an orange metallic with a black base which makes it appear more brown on me.
I am not fond of oranges or browns so while this is a very unique shade and quite pretty it looks like yuck on me. :o(

Edyta is a foresty green with mega gold shimmer.
Edyta is the super hot sister with the ugly name. It's like being introduced to a gorgeous jaw dropping woman who has a nerdy, ugly name, lol  I love Edyta despite the name, she is unique, lovely and as the light shifts you see an entirely different side of her.

Julieanne is a medium blue based purple with hot pink shimmer!
I could not for the life of me get the pink shimmer to show in pics, it insisted on pretending to be silver.
It has that lit from withing quality that I love and I don't have a single color close to this one!

The formula is very nice. It can play games occasionally trying to be slightly runny but a minute uncapped solves this. Application was pretty nice for metallics. These are a chunkier metallic than the traditional so I had no brush stroke issues at all. All in all a very pretty fall collection!

Zoya Wonderful

Zoya's Wicked and Wonderful collection

These are the 6 Wonderful shades.
All vampy fall cremes

Shawn is a great dark olive green.

Cola is a fun deep brick red creme.

Kristi is a sweet pink toned red.

Burke is a great deep rose.

Stacy is a yummy wine creme.

Kelly is a dark blue based gray creme.

All were opaque in 2 thin coats. The formula is very nice as usual with Zoya.
You can find this collection here
I really love the contrast in Wicked and Wonderful!

China Glaze Vintage Vixen swatches

The China Glaze Fall 2010 Vintage Vixen Collection as described by China Glaze:
CHINA GLAZE GOES RETRO GLAM FOR FALL 2010 COLLECTION
Sultry Fall Colors Entice The Fashionable Palette

For Fall 2010, the China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection captures the vivid and saturated hues of the 1940’s with this seductively complex palette. These classic shades of the season recreate the timeless tableau of movie land mystique, perfect red pouts and steamy nights where swing was the scene!
Step out with these multi-faceted jewel tones, rich reds, titillating taupes and smoldering sands. This collection deliverers a high octane 40’s era glamour with a sophisticated edge!

I have to agree on the rich tones and sexy 40's style glamour
(All swatches are 2 coats no top or base, taken in natural light)

Ingrid is a Greyed taupey (yes I get to make up words) with copper micro glitter.
If you are a lover of Greige you need this! I am not one to love neutrals or earthy shades at all but I will even admit that this really is a lovely color.

Classic Camel is well a tan/camel beige with gold micro glitter.
This is my least favorite of the collection. It just doesn't thrill me but as I said I'm not one to love these kinds of shades. If you like neautrals with a kick then you may just love this one.

Foxy is sooooo Foxeh!
This one is more my speed, a lush burgundy with mega shimmer.
This one is worthy of coating the tips of Lana Turner.

Swing Baby is a taupish metallic, micro glitter.
Shiny...oh sorry, I got distracted. This one is a little on the shear side, I think a 3rd coat my solve that.

Hey Doll is a rose toned deep mauve with gorgeous shimmer.
I was surprised at how much I like this one. Very opaque.

First Class Ticket Blurple hotness with mega shimmer!
This one is my favorite...I think....I can't decide.

Jitterbug is a nice gunmetal metallic. Nothing extrodinary with all of the Silver metallics out lately though this one is more on the gunmetal side so I do prefer it over the others. I think Jitterbug is more versatile than a plain silver metallic, a little edgier, sexier in my opinion.

Goin' My Way? is a medium brown with copper shimmer.
Very rich color and the contrast with the copper makes this more interesting if you are a fan of browns.

Riveter Rouge Sassy red with rivets of silver glitter scattered throughout.
The "real" Rosie the Riveter, Rose Will Monroe, would be the first to call this one hotness!

Midnight Mission a sweet Navy blue with tons of silver micro shimmer.
I love this shade of blue and the silver makes it look almost metallic in sunshine.

Emerald Fitzgerald is a rich forest green with micro shimmer.
A very pretty green is you are in need....and who doesn't need a sexy green?!

Bogie is another favorite for me, a deep jewel tone plum with shimmer.

My thoughts on this collection:
I am glad to see some more interesting Fall shades not just a bunch of vampy reds, though you know I love my Vampy reds! The Vintage Vixen collection has a really nice variety, a something for everyone collection. I love the deep jewel tones and interesting shimmers/glitters.
The formula's were all very nice, China Glaze's usual easy to work with formula.
Most are opaque in 1-2 coats.

So which colors are you most looking forward to?
