I am loving China Glaze Anchors Away collection!
My Daddy was Navy in Vietnam and my Hot Hubby was a Merchant Marine so obviously I love Sailors!
I decided to layer Starboard and White Cap because well...I wanted to! :o)
Starboard: Hip and playful green crème
White Cap: Whimsical and sparkling multi-dimensional white
(descriptions courtesy of China Glaze)
My descriptions:
Starboard- An unusual and cheery medium bright green creme
White Cap- A sheer opal white with gold micro glitter/shimmer
This is very color accurate
New camera takes pretty pictures doesn't it!?
Oh look at the sparklies
This is 2 coats of Starboard with 1 coat of White Cap topped with Seche Vite
Application: Starboard was great, nearly opaque in one coat
White Cap is very sheer so personally I would not likely wear it alone but layered it gives beautiful shimmer in one very thin coat.
Formula: Great formula! Starboard is a perfect creme and applies like a dream. White Cap is rather thin and slightly runny, which makes it perfect for layering.
Has China Glaze made you a naughty Nauticalista?

Ooh i like that combo! That green is especially cheery, you're right!...different than a lot of greens we've seen lately, I thinkk.
ReplyDeleteI really like this! I may need to go get my nails done just so I can try this combo out.
ReplyDeleteI love this layering! You made me reconsider this collection (I adore CG but these colors seemed somehow too "plain") and look for the meaning of "cheery" in the Italian-English dictionary.
