These are the last 5 of Color Clubs Rebel Debutante collection. These are, in my opinion, the more rebellious shades.
I believe these will be available next week. You’ll be able to find them at VNS http://www.victoriasnailsupply.com/index.html
Uptown Girl is a dusty neutral purple that leans a bit mauve. Opaque in 3 coats with a smooth and fairly even coverage. I was surprised at how much I liked this on.
She’s sooo Glam was the problem child. A true Barbie pink that was rather streaky and went on like a bad tantrum. It was opaque with 4 coats but I had trouble getting her even so with more time and patience it’s possible to be opaque in 3. I was not overly excited by this but it is a nice Barbie pink.
Ms. Socialite is a very pretty red based plum. Very smooth, even coverage with 2 coats to opaque.
This is one of my favorites of the collection, it’s just a little different than your typical plum shade.
Rebel Debutante is a light nearly neon green that leans a bit yellow. Opaque in 2 coats with a nice even, smooth coverage. I like this color, though not totally unique, it is a little different than the other greens that I own. It’s not lime green, though it is a yellow based green, not neon but very nearly. My camera did not want to capture the color. It kept going toward mint and this is not mint. The thumbnail in the bottom left of the picture is much more accurate.
Gossip Column is a blued teal very deep in tone. 2 very creamy coats to a smooth opaque. This one had the best application of the collection, possibly due to the depth of the pigments. I really love this color. It’s a lovely dark but not too dark teal that leans more blue but is obviously teal.
Overall I think this collection was a good idea in that nearly all of the colors are work safe but still modern and trendy with a few more edgy shades mixed in. My feel for this collection is one of conservative rebel if that makes any sense. Think of a chic power suit paired with a little dash of nightclub thrown in for fun.
These products were provided by the company to me for review. The opinions are solely mine and are not influence by the receipt of samples.
Thanks for posting these! Gossip column looks gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteThose look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMs. Socialite is really nice, as is Uptown Girl ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are tons better, though I was expecting that green to be more mint cause that's how it appeared to me. Though neon green, I'm not complaining!
ReplyDeleteThese all look AMAZING on your nails. Honestly, I want to have them all...because of you! Crivens!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that blue. neeeeeeeds it

I'm disappointed with Rebel Debutante, I thought it was supposed to be a mint green. Oh well. I really like Gossip Column, and these all look really great on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the swatches! Gossip Column, Rebel Debutante and Uptown Girl are my favourites!
ReplyDeleteOh nooo, I love them all :-D. Thanks so much for swatching these. I love how Gossip Column looks on you :-)
ReplyDeleteDo you think you could do a tutorial on how to do a silk wrap? I don't know how to do this, but would like to!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see these beauties on your nails. I am loving Gossip Column and Ms. Socialite from this grouping. Rebel Debutante even looks a little brighter on the nail than in the bottle. It's a fun color for spring. <3
ReplyDeleteI like Rebel Debutante and Gossip Column, but the rest just don't seem rebellious to me.
ReplyDeleteDaph- I really like Gossip column too...not too fond of the name though.
ReplyDeleteKirsten-I'm glad they are helpful
Jess-That is the one I knew you'd like.
GildedAngel- Thank You
Helen- I'm still debating on Uptown girl
Arrianne- I was expecting a mint green as well, I think it's just one of those colors that is shy in pictures.
Sasa- I bet these would look gorgeous on you. You wear neutrals so much better than I.
Ange- Is there a blue that you don't need? lol
Thess- Thank You
Trincess- Thank You sweety
Gina- Thank you, aren't you sweet!
Get nailed- I know the stock pictures are deceptive.
Maestra- I think this is one that I love some and meh the others. lol
Michele- Thank you!
Arrianne- I am happy to do a silkwrap tutorial, give me a couple of days.
Diana- Those are the ones that stand out to me as well.
CucumPear- I have to agree, at least for my version of rebellios they are very tame. I just picture a sweet young lady from an extremely stern, stick up the butt kind of family....for her these are rebellious. :)
That's a fab range of colours there, from the neutrals in your earlier post to the colourful. Ms Socialite is my favourite, I have to say. :)
