Here is what I found at my door Friday
And what was inside?
Can you say WOW
I have never worn fake nails before in my life.
Because I love you all and I only do honest and full reviews
I filed the nails on my right hand allllllll the way down to the bed.
I read the instructions, very easy to follow.
How cute are these?!
It took me less than 5 minutes to size and apply
I think I'm a bit too dark complected for these but they are still cute.
I think a darker toned nail bed would suit me better.
All in all these are a great alternative to acrylics, very easy to apply and no commitment.
So I would reccomend the Nailene So natural's to anyone looking for a good false nail set.
These pictures were taken after a day of wear, dishes, diaper changes, playing soccer with the kids and replanting my poor plant. Not a chip, not a single loose nail.
These sell for between $5 and $6 at most drugstores and Walmart, Target etc.
Do those damage your true nail at all like professionally applied nails?
ReplyDeleteNot as long as you do not over buff your nail plate and you soak them off with acetone instead of prying or pulling them off.
ReplyDeleteThose look great on you!!! I really like that design!
ReplyDeleteoh no, your nails are short like mine! You deserve an Honest Blogger Award for filing your beautiful nails down in order to do an honest review :D
*glances at the blog name and glances back at the finger nails*
ReplyDeleteDude. I would not have recognised your hands.
Those nails look pretty good for falsies!
WHOA! Does it feel so weird to have short nails? These look great. Thanks for doing this for us. :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa, you really took one for the team in filing your nails down so far :) thanks for that!
ReplyDeleteHOLY CARP! Say it isn't so! Get a hand model for that. I haz a sad. :(
ReplyDeleteNice review, I'll pass, though I am glad my sisters can wear them. They like these.
The only thing that comes to mind is "taking one for the team"! You rock. I still think they look cute on you and isn't Nailene so sweet for sending all those goodies?
ReplyDeleteWow, you're amazing!
ReplyDeleteI also like Nailene's false nail.
ReplyDeleteThere are some shop in HK...selling those false nail for about USD20...super crazy!!!
I prefer to buy them from eBay
NO! Don't do it! I can't look. The shortness!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks for the filing dedication! I think these look great on you.
ReplyDeleteI know that this will sound as a question coming from a first-grader, but here it goes...can you paint them with polish as if they were your real nails? I always wear my nails short because one of them invariably breaks every three/ four weeks, but if I could save just the one each time I wouldn't file them all down. I'm half expecting the answer to ne "no" as it seems to good to be true. *breath held, fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteThey look very useful ! I salute you for the length...lol...and I think they look wonderful on you :)
ReplyDeleteYou did what?! OMG! I'd never expect this from you. Your gorgeous talons are gone... I'm gonna follow you. Soon.
ReplyDeleteNailene does such a great job when preparing a packages for bloggers. They look so neat!
These falsies look great on you, but I prefer your naturals.
Wow! Honest which is really, really nice to see.
ReplyDeleteQuestion - I tried faux before but they were never small enough for me. How is the sizing on these?
That was my worry because my nail beds are almost child size, but go Nailene, there is a great variety in sizes and I had no trouble finding small enough nails to fit mine.
ReplyDeleteThanks love, I prefer my natural nails too.
ReplyDeleteNailene really does go above and beyond with their goody bags. A great company imo!
Thank you Tuli!
ReplyDeleteNot a silly question at all. Yes you can polish these and it stays a bit better than natural nails. I put a set on my 8 year old daughter and polished them, polish usually slides right off of her within a day. She is on day 3 and so excited.
ReplyDeleteI would use a set with the lighter colored tips so that you have no trouble getting even coverage.
Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNo worries lovie, they grow very fast.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a bit pricey.
ReplyDelete:-[
ReplyDeleteThey are very cutei have to admit.
ReplyDeleteI might send some to my oldest, she's a nail biter so maybe this will help.
I don't like second hand opinions so it's all for the sake of a fair review.
ReplyDeleteI just tried to be fair and this was the best way for me.
ReplyDeleteLiz it feel really strange. I can't remember ever having nails this short, Ever.
ReplyDeleteI looked yesterday on line and they have some really cute styles.
I keep doing a double take too. lol Franken hands.
ReplyDeleteI think these are really cute and if I didn't grow gargantuan claws I'd bet these are what I would be using. I'm surprised at how easy it is and they don't feel fake.
ReplyDeleteWow! You really filed your gorgeous nails down...that's dedication. I have so much respect for you.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed you would file your nails down completely just to review some fake nails. I bow down to your awesomeness!
ReplyDelete:'( I'm so touched that you would do that for us. It's brought tears to my eyes. I know how much your nails mean to you. I chopped all my nails down at 4 in the morning. When I stay up late I do stupid things! I got fed up on some peeling nails so off they went. I painted my nails with Sephora's Opi Let's Do Lunch. Don't care for the color on me. Crap. I then remembered all of the vegetables and fruits I had sitting on my counter than I'd washed up. I went and put them away and ruined my nails. I've got to redo them today. Thank you for my venting. My back is really killing me and I just want to scream. I love those Nailene nails. I think they look really pretty on you. Can you paint on top of those nails? Your an angel for filing your nails down. I do know how fast your nails grow. That's lucky. Big hugs and a mwah to you. Have a blessed Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThanks! *does a happy dance*
ReplyDeleteWow they are so cute! I've never worn false nails either and still don't think i will start now.
ReplyDeleteOOO I really really like those. TOO cute!
ReplyDeleteI know Evil already answered this, but I paint mine all the time! Wear them for a few days, paint over them, and then remove it! When you remove the polish, the fake nails start wearing down a bit, so they need to be replaced after 2-3 polishes. You can also buy unpolished ones - which is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update, Brooke. I'm bidding for a set on ebay now! These will be mine!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute! I can't believe you filed your lovely nails all the way done! You so rock!
ReplyDeleteThis actually looks pretty good on you, I must say! Thanks for filing your nails just to try these out - they look awesome!
