No really I am!
I finally got around to using my China Glaze Tree Hugger.
I am in love, it applies like silk. 2 Coats to perfection.
I added some diagonal dots because I can. Pardon their lack of perfection as I could not find my dotting tool so I did this with a striping brush.
Back to my Tree hugging.....
Please reconsider using Real trees for Christmas...
It takes between 4 and 8 years to grow an average "Christmas" tree
So instead of cutting down a perfectly healthy, oxygen producing, air filtering, living tree...
A nice fake tree cost about the same last forever and many are made of recycled materials.
Or plant a Pine tree in your yard and decorate it each year.
You just never know what to expect from me do you?! :)
VampiressDoll from Bleeding Beauty tagged me for this too sweet award.
I love your blog too Lovie! (^_^) xoxox
I was also tagged for this by my sweet gildedangel at Naive Nails.
She does great swatches and has a great blog!

This really does remind me of a Hollywood starlet gone cerial killer. lol
Aren't you glad you don't live inside my head! Muahahahahahah!
I used a no name lilac holo Sally Girl polish as my base. Yep Sally has 2 holo's how cool is that!
It was 3 coats to opaque, good application other than with my nail length these tiny bottles start to thicken quickly. Nothing a few drops of thinner couldn't fix.
I used Konad special polish in dark purple and image plate m21 for the blood drops.
I did one full image on each nail and then added a few of the smaller spatter randomly.
The holo is more sparse than China Glaze but still very pretty and it does show in lower lighting as well.
A little blurry to really show the bling.
This is my look from yesterday.
I apologize for the Garage backdrop, funny thing is it's the most natural lighting in the house.
No foundation (I don't wear it, none matches my skin tone)
Palladio Translucent loose rice powder (I love this stuff)
Cheeks: Evil Shades Burlesque
Home made primer (there is a tutorial coming on this)
Evil Shades Heartless Queen on inner 2/3 of lid and upto just above crease and a touch under lower lash.
Evil Shades Sweet Alice on outer 1/3 and blended up to brow bone and down to tear duct.
Palladio liquid liner black
Maybelline Full n soft mascara in black
a touch of liquid cover
Evil Shades Diana's Bow gloss
These were taken after 9 hours of wear and is more vibrant in person.
I love how Sweet Alice blended into Heartless Queen fades into a hot pink.
This looks like the true colors....Amazing I managed to get one good shot!
Do Not look at my Eyebrows...I have no control.
I just did a very thin line of eyeliner on the upper lash line
I don't feel like this look needed a bold liner.
And here is my hair growing out...out of control. I decided to not straighten it and see how much of my natural curl is left. Looks like some of it is still there.
I just watched the Youtube video from The Sophie Lancaster foundation.
A beautiful young woman of 20 Kicked to death while protecting her unconcious boyfriend.
Why? Because they are Goth!
Please watch this and spread the word of Sophies story.
I warn you that it is heart wrenching and tears will follow.
China Glaze Blue Island Iced Tea has been staring at me from
my untrieds, so I decided I needed to wear it.
Application was perfect, 3 coats for the sake of my OCD, smooth, no brush marks, very forgiving and it shines like it's name. I had to add a little freehand nail art using Stripe rite black because I'm just in the mood for nail art lately.
The nail art kind of makes me think of snow falling at night past a barren tree, slightly omonise but I'm loving it a lot.
`I See everyone gearing up for Thanksgiving and I though I might
take this opportunity to explain briefly why you see no Thanksgiving mani or words of excitement over Turkey and holiday festivities.
I do not celebrate Thanksgiving. As a Native Woman this is a day of mourning for me as well as my people. I am not going to pull out my soapbox, I promise.
I do not judge or force my views on my fellow human, so please do not feel the need to tiptoe around the subject with me, there is no need. I will spend tomorrow mourning the genocide of Native American’s past, present and future. This is my belief and I only ask that you respect that as I respect yours.
I will not go any further in detail as I don’t want to ruin the celebratory mood for my dear friends.
I am happy to share information and answer questions for anyone, but please email me as I do not want this to be a public spectacle.
I leave you all with this prayer from my tribe:
Oh, Great Spirit
Whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world,
hear me, I am small and weak,
I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold
the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have
made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things
you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have
hidden in every leaf and rock.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy - myself.
Make me always ready to come to you
with clean hands and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my Spirit may greet you without shame.

One of my favorite bloggers, Nymphette, is being featured on Bella Sugar!
How cool is that! Take a peek at her hawtness... Pinup look by Nymphette
BI III'm so happy for her and I think she deserves the feature, she's just as sweet as she is Gorgeous!
Chris and I are huge music fans although we are rather strict on the types of music that we enjoy.
LOL In general if it isn't Punk(Not pop punk gah), Metal(true serious metal), Very Heavy Hard Rock we are not likely to enjoy it. (Other than Johnny Cash because well he listens to Metal so he's awesome)
Chris thought it would be great if you all suggested some bands or specific albums you'd like to see him review. My European friends if you know of some amazing Metal or Punk bands that might not be so well known here in the US Please speak up as we are are Hardcore lovers of Indie Metal bands.
Chris adores Viking Metal, Norwiegian Death and anything deep dark and disturbed.
I am a lover of Metal but I also love Rockabilly, Punkabilly, Punk(Mostly street punk), some Goth and generally any non mainstream sounds.
So feel free to post or email and if you have a link even better, we are always on the look out for new to us music.

Here is my insipiration for this manicure.
I used Finger Paints Strawberry Shake for my base
Wet n wild black creme for the stamp and the striping, Konad plate m57 and some tiny silver stick on nail decals for my studs.
I am all about studs! (the studded part was inspired by my favorite black leather studded bracelete that is too funky to post pics of)
My favorite lippie UD Voodoo!
This time I wanted the distressed look however the full nail images are very dificult to do on my nails for a couple of reasons, 1- my nails are too long 2-my nailbeds are too narrow
This is the natural curve of my nails
see way too much curve in da claws. I wish there were a way to decrease the curve but this is what I have and I'll work with them.
Now the very best part of my day was that about an hour after I took these my thumb nail snapped half way back in my nail bed and also across the right tip and I was at my Son's ENT so no choice but to cut it. :(
So you'll be getting thumbless pictures for a while. It's getting cold and dry here which makes my nails very brittle any suggestions would get you a great big hug!
Immortal “All Shall Fall”
2009 album from the Norwegian Black Metal heads
Let me start by saying that I’ve been listening to this CD since October 6th.
Abbath on guitars/vocals, Horgh on drums, Apollyon on bass and Demonaz Lyrics, made out with another kick ass Album.
Their Albums seem to have followed a pattern of upwards climb since “At the Heart of Winter”.
The 2nd track The Rise of darkness is a much more melodic song but gains it’s heavy heart racing depth about midway through. This has my favorite guitar riff.
Track 3 Hordes To War-This song comes out screaming. It's fast, extremely brutal, very chaotic and just overall very intense. With fierce drums and classic Immortal vocals.
I prefer Immortal over most Black Metal bands out there!
If you are new to Immortal you may also want to check out “Sons of Northern Darkness.
I give this 5 out of 5 guitar picks.
Horns up \m/ ,
China glaze Recycle is the perfect medium gray creme.
Origionaly I was going to Konad over it but this color is simply perfect so I decided to keep it simple and added some of my favorite little decals.
Sorry my clean up was really bad on this one.
and with our recycled mulch, made from used tires how cool is that.
I actually put on makeup today after 3 days of nada.
I had to play with my Evil Shades Whooo are you? and Sweet Alice.
The picture do not do the colors justice they are much more vivid in person.
Here is the breakdown for those interested:
LOL You know I don't wear foundation.
E.L.F. translucent mattifying powder
Nars Orgasim blush (yep bought it for the name)
Homemade primer(works pretty darn good)
Evil Shades Sweet Alice (silvery baby pink)
Evil Shades Whooo are you? (minty fresh green)
Maybelline Full n soft mascara black
Evil Shades un named gloss (soft pink with mega blue shimmer)
I foiled Whooo are you? lightly instead of liner for upper and lower lash line.
Eyebrows are a hot mess, but I have so little I just didn't feel like filling them in today.
This is much closer to the true color. (pardon my wrinkly eyes, I'm old)
This is what happens when a Blackfoot Man falls for a Viking girl. lol
I have a complection that no foundation can match and a nose that only my husband could love!
Is that a gray hair?
I checked, nope. Damn believe it or not I look forward to my silvers coming.
Click this picture to see the blue shimmer. Any thoughts on a name?
I will gladly send a free jar to anyone who can come up with a great name for this gloss.
Thank You all for your hugs and well wishes!
I did manage to polish my nails last night. I had a mini bottle of Black Cherry Chutney but it looked just blackened berry so I figured it was a bad bottle. My sweet friend Jess sent me a grown up bottle and guess what it's friggin' gorgeous!
This is what it looks like in low lighting
and a little sunshine
I love OPI Black Cherry Chutney
Look at those sparklies!
I'm thinking Konad!
